Yeah, but JT, all though he was bouncin' heads off the canvas, (in STYLE I might add) up until that run of fighters, can't KO an old lady in a wheel chair.:nut

Seriously, YouTube the JT vs. Ouma fight. It makes you cringe and feel guilty for watching JT was crackin' that ****er so hard, but he would not go away.

Taylor learned his lesson in his first fight with Pavlik about corners. Good jabs will wear you down too. Froch may be the one that finds himself cornered.

Promoters aren't in the business of losing money. Allan Green doesn't have a large fan base and there is no reason to believe that thousands of fans will flock to see him fight Taylor. In this case it is Taylor's drawing power that will ultimately determine revenues. Froch may not be well known on this side of the pond, but he has a claim to the title. That can be hyped and may sell a few more tickets. The jokers posting in the forum have no awareness that it is the fans who pay the bills and write the paychecks.

Froch is alot more reckless and gung-ho than Pavlik though. No matter the situation Pavlik comes in with the mechanical one-two - albeit with with varying intensity - but Froch is a free styler who will spear in hooks and uppercuts. He won't give Taylor the time he needs.

I can see it now...... Taylor will take them well early on, box intelligently, but then he will get caught with one of those 'wild' shots and his legs will stiffen and he will have that dazed look on his face that he had when he fought Pavlik.

I'm neutral though. I like Taylor and Froch, but Taylor is too naive, he stays in the pocket a bit too long and gets slack and that's what will be his undoing.

True, good post Ralph. But I would like to add, JT's drawing power may not be the end all - he does OK in Vegas, really good in Memphis, TN it seems- but his real draw is TV viewers in the US and the money HBO/Showtime Pay to have him on one of their shows.

Froch KOs Taylor in 10 rds.

His chin is too good and his big shots will break Taylors heart.

Hope it's in the UK though. Nottingham Forrest FC is only 40 miles from me.

Froch's only hope is the KO....Taylor has fought everyone except Calzaghe including Winky, Hopkins, Pavlik, Lacy and Joppy

Level of opposition-wise only Pascal and a shot Robin Reid come anywhere close to indicating if Froch is at Taylor's level.

That said he is WBC champion and deservedly so.

I hope The Cobra Wins but think the American takes this one.

Taylor will outbox him, but Froch has the power to KO him, and I don't think Taylor can knock Froch.

Froch's jab is a useful weapon if he decides to not just hunt for the KO, that could affect Taylor's scoring opportunities

Bad matchup for Froch ... he loves to keep his hands low and eat combos.... Taylor is going to light him up ,

Taylor has a longer reach and faster hands. If he uses his common sense he should be able to out box Froch easily. It isn't hard to beat a man who comes straight at you with his guard down and chin in the air.
