    Hopefully this will happen soon.

Taylor is the big favorite but Froch has a good chance of winning.

But the more important question is that with this fight and possible win would Froch be achieving more in one fight than Calzaghe has done in his entire career (minus the Kessler win)?

I would rate Taylor better than Eubank, especially at the point in the careers that these two fights are happening.

Beating Taylor is equal to Kessler, Eubank, Hopkins, Lacy, Mitchell, Reid (prime) now :nut

    Get serious.

No way! One swallow does not a summer make. Even if Froch dominates Taylor and stops him late, having boxed magnificently... ...he would still have to prove himself against other very good fighters before having his name pronounced in the same breath as Calzaghe's, Kessler fight or not/

Froch beats Taylor easily. No one can touch the Cobra.

I lean towards Taylor by UD.

Even if Froch wins you can't go mentioning him in the same sentence as Joe.

I hope Froch wins, but I think the step up in class will shock him.

    Taylor by late KO/UD

Froch is no where near Joe's calibre.

Im not a fan but Froch has potential. Froch despite his mouth has not progressed at the rate which would make people stand up and take note.

At this point in time Taylor has to start the favourite if only due to opposition faced, but this fight is a true 50/50.

Taylor is on a different level to Froch and I've never seen anything of Carl that would make me think otherwise.
I think Taylor will stop him late, probably by accumulation.

I rate Calzaghe very high and have him close to being in the top 10 all time British fighters so obviously I do not believe that if Froch pulled of a shock and beat Taylor that he would automatically match Joe's achievments but I do wonder how the yanks and Calzaghe detractors would call it, seeing as they judge Joe's career pretty worthless pre Lacy (who they now consider a one dimensional bum) and that Joe struggled with grandpa Hopkins.

I dont rate Froch all that highly. He hasn't fought ANYONE of note. He gets tagged way too often - a shot Robin Reid wobbled him. I think the step up will be too much for Froch and he will get a big shock.
All this rests on the fight actually going ahead which I am not convinved of yet. Once again Froch and his camp doing a 'Witter' and trying to goad someone into the ring.
I think he should fight someone on the fringes such as Miranda first and see where he goes from there.

According to Setanta the Yank TV would prefer Taylor to fight Lacy in a non-title fight than fight Froch for the title. Thats coming from Taylors manager though, it might just be a negotiating ploy....

I think Froch can win this. Taylor was so scared of Pavliks power that he got out boxed in there 2nd fight.

Froch is probs as or maybe even more powerful than Pavlik, so taylor will not be able to fight his fight.

Froch should 100% go to the states for this as well. Get it on HBO, Decent audience. If he wins big would set him up for Pavlik, Kessler, Wright maybe even Calzaghe.

Frochy doesn't have as much power as Pavlik - their KO ratio is fairly similar but Carl has spent too long beating chumps on the domestic scene and guys who get nicked for speeding on way from East Midlands Airport, having taken the fight on a day's notice.

I actually believe that we have not seen the best from Jermain Taylor.
