Taylor vs Lacy Would you like to see it?

I think Taylor would handle Lacy quit easily.

 

Dan Rafael just said the fight is being discussed for this fall. I think Lacy should take the fight with Ornelas or Spina before going straight in to a fight with Taylor. If he struggles with that caliber of opposition, then he might as well call it quits.

 

I'd favor Taylor over Lacy aswell, but would be a good name matchup.

I don't know how you figure that? When has JT been in a boring fight when the other fighter also came to fight?

 

Lacy has been inactive for too long now, if he plans to fight Taylor next then he'll get KO'd.

 

That is exactly the sort of thing Taylor needs. A KO win over a name opponent would be good for him mentally, and good for his career in general.

 

This is a good fight.

Taylor wins.

Lacy needs another soft touch or two before taking this.

Lacy pre-Calzaghe would have been 50-50 with a post-Pavlik Taylor. Lacy's shoulder problems and obvious beatdown from Joe did a lot more to head his abilities south than Taylor losses to Pavlik, thanks in part to how Taylor showed heart and guts in the face of the Ghost both times. I say Taylor to KO Lacy in 6.

tough pick, Lacy is not ready yet, but if he somehow he regains his former glory, I would give him a good chance at beating Taylor. He should take a minimum of two warm up fights before he targets taylor.
