I think Taylor is too skillful for Lopez, who has devolved into a braindead power puncher. He won Loma's respect somehow and I credit him for that, but he has looked like **** recently.

Prograis arguably won that fight and it wasn’t as impressive of a win as Lomachenko.

Lopez should rock JT a few good times early on but I see the patience and skills of Josh taking over in the middle rounds.

I can see it now 115/113 and maybe a highly disputed split win for JT

Agree and I would love to see JT drop Lopez once or twice.
I think Lopez with his speed and power could buzz JT early but we shall see.

I too believe Taylor's mix of skill and physicality on the inside will likely be the difference.

Taylor is very adept at using his body and forearms to create space on the inside for blistering body shots and clipping hooks upstairs.

This advantage will become more pronounced as the two tire and spend more time in and out of clinches.

Looking forward to it. Unfortunately the fight is not in UK, so I will have to watch it on Sunday morning :(. This one, I would have loved it to watch it live.

It was a close fight but I thought Taylor did edge it. Prograis would absolutely push Teo's **** in if they fought so it's a moot point anyways. Loma is less of a threat physically than Prograis, taking skill out of the equation. Prograis is a puncher with a bruising style and Taylor showed a lot of grit in that fight.

People are bringing up Cattrell for Taylor and Martin and Kambosas for Lopez but what about Nakatani? Lopez struggled with him as well, and said, "no more tall boxers" after that fight. Well, he's fighting a superior "tall" boxer in Taylor, who is infinitely more skilled than Nakatani and also naturally bigger.

Unless Taylor is dead at the weight, he is going to obliterate Lopez. No doubt in my mind.

The thing is, it's not p4p since Taylor and Lopez are fighting in Taylor's weight class. Prograis (Taylor's best win on paper, super close fight of course) would definitely beat Loma due to the size difference.

Catterall is more skilled than Lopez, who really has lost his last two fights to Kambosos and Martin. Taylor had a bad outing vs Jack but otherwise has had a stellar career beating the big boys at 140.

I think Taylor is overrated on a pound for pound basis but I think he beats Teo here pretty easily.

Make of that what you will.

They are both such pricks, especially Lopez, I like a fight like that, loads of needle between two spiteful *******s.
