Taylor vs Pavlik II Weigh in report

    I was a little late to the weigh-in, but there is a lot of energy here at the MGM. Both fighters weighed in at 164 and Taylor looked really cut.

    If I were to separate the room into two pieces by fans, I'd say that 75% of the fans were there for Pavlik. He has a huge following from Youngstown here. Taylor supporters were wearing ghostbuster shirts. A fight almost broke out before the weigh-in began.

    I missed Taylor's speech, but Pavlik came out, began banging on the mic, and just said "Youngstown".

    It looks like the announcers will be Manny, Larry, and Lampley.

    Here is who I spotted so far:

    Samuel Peter (shouldn't he be in training?)
    Paul Malignaggi
    Boom Boom Mancini
    Winky Wright (not at the weigh in, but he's throwing a party in the MGM after the fight)
    Chuck Zito (He sort of counts, I guess)

    Malignaggi was really cool about having his picture taken while Peter seemed uncomfortable.

    Forgot to mention that Hitman Hearns is also here. We got a great picture of him. I think his son is fighting?

    I'll be at the Pavlik after party at the Mirage. I'll get pictures there, too.
