Taylor vs Pavlik: Pavlik is TOO HUNGRY

Its not just those things. Taylor fights wild. Kelly is perfectly under control. He has much more variety to his game, better skills. I was nervous as hell going into his fight with Miranda & nothing will be different this time around. Taylor will be a formitable foe. I never thought KP would do what he did to Miranda. Thats not a good barometer to use comparing Taylor to Miranda anyway. This fight will be more difficult, but I think KP uses a similar game plan. To pressure him all the time, keep him moving backwards as much as possible, & eventually nail him.

Someone said KP may even dominate JT. I'm not gonna say that. I'm not even gonna think it. I just want him to win real bad.

****, Taylor has looked bad because he's fought guys who make bad fights. Ouma, Winky, and Spinks make TERRIBLE fights. Well, atleast Ouma has since he moved up in weight and can't overwhelm guys anymore.

You criticize him for fighting smaller guys, but they've all been quick and fast boxers, not guys who brawl with him.

I hope Taylor KO's Pavlik brutally just to shut some of you haters up.

 

i think Taylor will win by rounds.

its gonna be alot harder for Pavlik to land that right and in between those shots, Jermain will be outboxing him and landing his own straight right.

i dont see Pavlik knocking Taylor out either, that would be a long shot imo.

Ppl are totally underestimating Taylor, and totally making to much out of Pavlik's win over Miranda. Taylor is far from Miranda, and Pavlik isn't close to the class of fighters Jermain has recntly fought:nono Try switching up these fighters resume, and see if Pavlik would be undefeated. I'll ans that for you....the ans is Hell No!!! Yes taylor has had close fights w/Winky(#2 or 3 P4P at the time0, and Hops(#1 P4p at time), and Spinks ran but he's a very quick, slick fighter. Ouma is a rugged tough fighter. My point is Pavlik wouldn't have to worry about close decisions w/these guys because he wouldn't be in the fight!

Taylor is quicker, and hits just as hard if not Harder. Ican only imagine what Taylor's record would be if he fought Pavlik's opponents instead. He'd look like the same Ko artist!! Pavlik will bring out the best of Jermain, and he'll be eating good rights, all night especially off of counters. Pavlik has zero to no defense. Pavlik will come forward thinking he can KO Jermain and will get TKO'd or even put to sleep!! his workrate will leave so many opportunities for Jermain to counter. Jermain will be very offense this fight, and he will land that Big Right hand and Kelly will be looking up at him!

Taylor via TKO/KO!!

 

Also you guys forget that against Miranda Pavlik was fighting a wild swinging punching bag. Pavlik will look very slow against Jermain, and he'll be eating straight right, that come right down the pipe, not form way outside. They will land much cleaner than Miranda's, and Pavlik will feel the affects immediately.

I can't wait for this fight to Happen!!

 

Hopkins beat Taylor two times, the first fight Hopkins really kicked his ass, but Hopkins came out on top in both fights, the criminal judges helped Taylor. Winky beat Taylor, the criminal judges came to the rescue.

Pavlik can knock Taylor out, but the referee and at least two of the criminal judges will be in Taylor's corner.

.Taylor has beaten Pavlik in the amateur
.Taylor has fought better competition
.Pavlik has been DOWN TWICE (to journeymen) in the pros
.Taylor has never been DOWN but only been stunned by Hopkins (an elite fighter)
.Zertuche was able to land clean shot on Pavlik. Needs to work on defense just like Taylor does.

 

Labelling Pavlik a bum is stronging it a bit, mate. I agree with you in that Taylor has and continues to fight the best opposition out there at MW. If Taylor wins, the fans who give him no credit will have no choice but to re-evaluate their take on him as a fighter.

What an exciting time we have ahead of us until years-end. Many big fights scheduled. I think Taylor vs Pavlik has to potential to be right up there, with both boxers able to produce a classic, memorable encounter.

This a very even, competetive fight. Pavlik does appear to be very hungry. I felt this opinion of him when he re-iterated his desire to face Taylor at 160lbs, for the MW title, rather than both move up to 168lbs.

 

pavlik is what boxing needs and is way more marketable than taylor ever was. plus he took hard flush shots from miranda, the same man many people thought would KO taylor. i for one want to see jermain out cold.
