LOL they all pissed cuz what I say is True. Taylor doesnt even hold a title yet if Froch wants this fight he will bow down, travel to the USA and you ****ing assholes will stay up til 4 am to watch it. At least Froch will finally get paid. Bend over, cuz we're ****ing your asses again. How does it feel to always be receiving instead of giving?
Even your boy hatton had to travel to fight in the USA. If I recall correctly, the Tszyu fight started at like 4am UK time to accomdate the americans as well. I gotta say its sad the way you british boxing fans are always treated as second class citizens behind the americans getting the shaft in your ass without any ****.
how old are you. its people with an attitude like yours that give your country a bad name. and as for second class. last time i checked your economy was so far up the shitter and you all had to leave home and shack up with the red indians you kicked out in there tents because nobody could afford there mortgage. land of dreams my arse.:hi:
You not only cannot argue any kind of point correctly your ad hominems arent even funny. Everything I said is true and will be true and you and the rest of the fans who want to see this fight in a 100k arena (which is laughable this fight doesnt warrant that) will be staying up til 4 am or not watching your man fight at all. It happens time and time again. You feel slighted by it? I would too, im glad im not the red headed step child you are. Froch didnt even sell out Nottingham and its only 10k people. Go ahead and stay delusional. if this fight gets made..it will be in the USA where it belongs. Then you can shoot me a PM and tell me how it felt ok?
Well if the fight is made it will probably have to be in the States. Taylor clearly doesn't have the cojones to take his show on the road and fight in front of a hostile crowd. Froch meanwhile will fight anyone, anywhere and if he gets offered enough cash would probably be happy to go to the other guy's hometown. This would be the second time Taylor has done this, he also ducked Howard Eastman when it became clear he'd have to dust his passport off and leave the home comforts. History will not be kind to Taylor!
Taylor/Joppy wasn't a title fight, so no that's not really a better comparison, but it did 6,300 gate in an old 7100 seat arena in the worst part of town. Less than Froch/Pascal, but in a much smaller market. And as I mentioned before, there can be absolutely no correlation made between how many viewers Froch had on free television vs. how many Taylor gets on HBO or HBO PPV.
Taylor/Joppy is a much better comparison to Froch in terms of awareness beyond his own fanbase than Taylor v Ouma. If Froch goes off and beats, Taylor once and then in a rematch (as with Taylor beating Hopkins twice), then returns to Nottingham for a fight, he can get 30,000 in the City Ground. There would be your comparison to Taylor v Ouma.
taylor got dicked on twice by a bum like pavlik, has no belt, and you think he should be calling the shots atsch i wish so many americans didn't walk around with their head up their own ass. american boxing is going to the grave yard. it aint gonna be long before the big fights will be made in other countries where they have the best boxers, where they actually have fight fans who can be bothered to get up off their ass and actually attend a fight.
You're not taking into account the opponent's name recognition. Ouma is more like Pascal in terms of noteriety (the average fan in Little Rock had never heard of Ouma when he was named to fight Taylor) whereas if Taylor came to Froch's hometown it would be a much bigger deal. Now, could Taylor bring 30,000 fans to a venue anywhere near his hometown? No, the live fight market isn't that big here. When it comes to shelling out over $400 so the family can watch two specs duke it out halfway across a stadium, most people would prefer to watch it from the comfort of their living room on their 50" widescreen.
Boxing in Casino's is ****! The working class people should be catered for and 17,000 at the MGM Grand is bollock's when half the ticket's will be given away to corporate *****'s and Hollywood celebrity's that only go to get on the ****ing telly. When Calzaghe vs Hopkin's was first talked about they were saying Yankee Stadium, That was soon knocked on the head with the lure of Planet Hollywood's filthy lucre. Two of boxing's biggest name's fighting in a glorified warehouse is a joke. One of the reason's British boxing is on the up is the fact it's accessible to the average man on the street, American boxing is in serious decline primarily because of Greedy promoter's and TV company's who take the bait from the casino's and essentially sell out with their PPV bollocks. There are some great boxing venue's in the state's MSG, Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall are two example's of America getting it right, Cotto and Pavlic fan's feel more real and produce great a atmosphere but Vegas dominates American boxing for the whole and not for the better. Froch KO 10 Taylor :happy
