Taylor has fast hands for a middleweight..he can throw a jab and hook of that same ****ing jab in a blink. STFU I never said legs were fast. ******...If compared to a welter he is average.
Dumb.. Taylor's handspeed is not significantly faster than Pavlik's handspeed. I'd be more worried about the disparities in power and durability if I were you.
It could happen that way but speed isn't everything. Taylor lacks defense & I think his power is questionable especially when he's throwing fast. Pavlik is a very busy, heavy handed fighter with a solid chin. Good close fight right here, I can't wait!! :hey
Bammm wrong..good timing and a quick release on the right following a jab. The one, two appears fast to guys like you. But a fighter that can throw a hard jab and then hook off of that same hand to the body and head has the faster hands..That would be JT....sorry.
He has fast hands. He has the sort of speed that gives you trouble - ask Hopkins or Wright. Kesslers combinations are all straight variations. Dawson and Calzaghe have got very impressive speed. Taylor however has reeled off good 3 or 4 punch combos with no response from fighters like X and Wright! Taylor is fast - this isn't debatable. He isn't super fast but he is fast.
:good These ******s belittle him any chance they get. His left hand is fast no matter how you slice it.
Palese if that was the case he would have never been able to share the ring with Nard , winky or even spinks. are you playing Taylor attributes down because he is black ?! sure seem like it.
If Taylor wins, and I give him about a 45% chance of doing so, it'll be because of handspeed. If he pumps out the jab, follows behind it with hard combinations, and keeps his defense nice and tight, he can win this fight in impressive fashion. However, to do so, he'd have to truly give of himself. I don't think I've ever seen Taylor put it all on the line; he always seems to be keeping something back, as if winning doesn't matter that much to him. His subdued reaction to the Wright draw reinforced this view. Only if Taylor can find some sort of latent fire within himself will he be able to beat Pavlik.
I didn't say anything that wasn't true. He is quite average at nearly every facet of the game. Not ohhirble but not great either. And if it weren't for the friendly judges he wouldn't have come out of the ring with Hopkins or Winky with wins.
Now that is the dumbest **** I heard since this fight has been announced hands down.....you must be slow of mind. That is mentally ******ed to say that. Pavlik is a slow power middleweight. JT is the direct opposite. :roflnut:nut
Well he's made a career out of fighting welterweights enough to invite comparison. Calzaghe,Sturm and Kessler have far faster hands than cheekbones.
