Lol Dan trying to be a smartass once again. Do you actually have ANY real life friends or just the one you named your right palm?

Anyway ignoring the serial friendless troller and getting back on topic Abraham simply doesn't have Froch's workrate and half the ability close the gap but if anyone wants to you're more than welcome to put your money on Abraham - it just means a better return for me at the end of the day.

I've said my peace. October looms so lets let fate show who is right! This thread requires immediate bookmark for historical recollection baby! :hey

If this was to happen, I'll go Taylor.
"Straight right" will split the gloves against AA's Shell.
(But JT best to finish this dude....lol)

I'm a fan of Taylor but he gets KO'd in this one and possibly earlier than he did against Froch. Abraham is a big puncher who carries his power all the way to the 12th as proven many times already, just the wrong style for Taylor. If terrible Froch was able to pull off a KO late then that's more than enough proof what will happen to Taylor in this one.

I don't believe we've ever exchanged pleasantries before and I'm not sure what my masturbation habits have to do with a Taylor v Abraham fight. Thanks for your concern with regards to my social life though.

As for the boxing, Froch hardly has a prodigious work rate either, he simply wore Taylor down by persistently being there. Abraham has a better defence than Froch also, so there's good reason to believe Taylor will have less success than he did against Carl.

I actually love Taylor as a person, just can't help dumping on him sometimes...

Karma's a B, and all those bad decisions have caught up with him.

He's not a good finisher and even if he was he can't afford throwing so many and running out of gas from it early, if you lack stamina you're in trouble against anyone and by ANYONE I mean cans like Froch.

Abraham has underrated/good defense, there's no way he will be wide open like Froch or Pavlik were, even if he was he proves to have a good enough chin to handle it. The man fought with a broken jaw from round 4 to 12 against an undefeated hungry Miranda and yet he was the one rocking/stunning Miranda in the late rounds. This is a nightmare fight for Taylor, the wrong start to the tournament for him in my opinion and I won't be surprised if it's over early. Abraham is way too underrated here.

I would have no confidence in Taylor. His stamina is not going to get any better and when he gets tired he becomes sloppy and a KO waiting to happen. His only shot is an early KO and I don't ever bet on those.

Abraham's defense is somewhat similar to Winky Wright's, and Taylor had good success getting through and around Winky's guard.

Taylor's problem is he can't fight backing up what so ever. So I can see him having some success early. That is until Abraham explodes out of his shell and unleashes heavy punches.

I don't think Taylor can absorb AA's best shots, especially in his first fight back from a brutal defeat. But if somehow he can, this could be a much closer fight than most expect. Taylor has stamina issues, clearly. But Abraham has issues with stamina himself. It remains to be seen if the move up in weight significantly improves Arthur's gas tank.

I don't care if people will insult me for this, I'm sure some of the desperate British fans won't like this comment but that's how I rate Froch and Calzaghe agrees with me.

The guy is a tomato can, his power is decent, zombie speed, no movement, no defense, his combinations make amateurs look like super professionals. Tomato can stuff for a champion, it's a disgrace Taylor fell to that.

Of course I said the same about Pavlik and his fans here didn't like it and laughed their asses off at my prediction of Hopkins whopping his ass like never before. Hell I even told them that the catchweight will be their excuse after it and they laughed at that too.
