Slightly different scenario, I see some heated exchanges after the feeling out rounds, action should commence in round 3,4 Surprisingly I can see Taylor getting the upper hand, Causing great facial damage to the tough Pavlik who just marches forward menacingly, Looking to walk Down Taylor while firing staight powerful jabs and right and left crosses, we all know that Pavlik has a good work ethic, and tends to throw a large volume of powershots within the round, look for both fighters rallying late trying to steal the end of the rounds, Taylor is constantly moving, and using the whole ring and by Pavlik walking him down trying to cut him off, Will be constantly trying to reset his attack, Make no mistake Pavlik is very confident in his quest and I think he unwilling to leave it within the hands of the judges, So hes looking for the K.O, one big problem and should rule decisive, Taylor just got that speed advantage, and believe it or not the pop in his fists to gain Pavliks respect, I see this imo ending on a stoppage for Taylor by the amount of punishment Pavliks recieving, The constant walk down tactics of Pavliks may be to his doom, I see a Vitali and Lewis re-enactment in the lower weight division,
Look for Taylor constantly smothering pavliks work, Cuts stoppage for Taylor

It's very possible that taylor can bust pavlik up with alot of clean punches,i'll tell u what taylor's handspeed and punch accuracy is alot better that miranda,so that means pavlik will have to eat alot of clean punches, especially early in the fight.

It's not that taylor does not have the speed and ability to win this fight, but he won't put out the effort that it takes to win it. He gets stopped by pavlik in a one sided beat down other than when taylor runs. You guys get real when has taylor busted up someone's face, I've seen all of his fights and you all are talking like he is the hitman or something. Wake up he is not going to destroy anyone if he wins its because he runs all night and looses even more credibility with his once fans.

Exactly. Taylor pitty-pats his way to gift decisions, and takes on light-hitting fighters moving up from lower weight classes, who he can't even knock out!!

Pavlik is gonna show just HOW overrated this hype job is, and just HOW shaky his chin is too! :yep

Is Taylor really as powerful as some people claim? I've only seen three of his fights and I guess I didn't see anything that made me think "wow he's powerful". I saw quickness and athleticism...

taylor tko 11 against who? roman karmazin?

since i am from northeast ohio, and i also enjoy entertaining boxing matches, i am a bit biased, ill admit, but taylor has not impressed me in his last few fights, and i think that considering his (and, surprisingly, manny stewards) recent comments, they may be taking pavlik a bit too lightly; the midwest white boy syndrome. pavlik is focused and he trains like a beast and if miranda couldn't find a range against pavlik, let alone walk him down, i think that taylor can't either. taylor tastes power like he never has the first time pavlik lands a big right over the top over taylor's low-held left hand. if taylor doesn't adjust his guard, i just don't think he will be able to take that kind of consistent punishment.

and everyone who talks about taylor's win in the amateurs? puh-leaze; power fighters don't get amateur props. not since foreman.

pavlik ends the taylor circle jerk around the 9th.

If Taylor wins against Pavlick, even when he goes backwards, he should get his credit! Pavlick is a verry dangerous strong fighter and no 154 pounder, a real challenge fpr Taylor. i dont get it why Taylor fought so shy against the 154 pounders but against Pavlick he can only win if he fights smart, going toe to toe with pavlick would be stupid and Taylors would get KOed.
I think Pavlick will win this fight though, by knokout.

You and your sundress wearing friends (Amsterglam and Hackman) are going to be crying tears of sadness into your Cosmopolitans when Taylor is declared victorious.
