Yea that's ****ed up. Did you see Lampley's face after the interviews? I bet you he was bitching at Lennox cuz his boy lost. ****ing cheerleader he is. I bet Merchant was laughing behind his back too.
Umm.. despite the nuthugging they were doing for Pavlik, I had Jermain winning up until the stoppage. It was close, but Taylor was ahead with the KD.
You can certainly argue that Taylor was up by a point, but come on. 59-54? Lederman had it about right.
Pavlik was up at the time of the stoppage. Pavlik was outjabbing and outboxing JT in what was a tremendously competitive scrap.
I could see it being a close fight either way although I scored for Pavlik, but 3-4 points is a little much. The cards should've been closer to even going into the 7th regardless of who was judged to be out in front.
I had Taylor up by a few points, and was disagreeing the entire time with the commentators' opinions on who was winning, as well as Lederman's scorecard. I think the one constant in any HBO fight is that Lederman's card is never anywhere close to what the actual judges have.
Ok, so the majority thinks that Pavlik was up, or that the fight was within 1 point. A few outliers agree with Taylor being up 3 points. I still think it's fishy, especially since Taylor gets the extra points so consistently.
