Catterral fight on the way or perhaps he dropped the WBC belt given he might banned from entering the US.

Means Prograis is next in line for the WBC belt as a mandatory for whoever wins out of Zepeda vs Ramirez.

Zepeda beats Ramirez. Jose kinda seems washed at this point.

Zepeda should win this and then fight for other belts.

    Also Catterall should destroy Taylor

The Catterall fight is what everyone wants, but I honestly can't held but think Zepeda was a tougher fight for him.

The Tartan Tomato probably figured he would never live it down if he doesn't give Cathy a rematch.

I'm a bit torn on this:-

On the one hand, Taylor NEEDS to put this Catterall thing to bed, rematch, and get it done with, no excuses, win, lose or draw.

On the other hand, the first fight was a stinker, and TTT vs Chon I think would have been much better viewing.

Smart from Taylor when you think about it. He drops the WBC belt, so that’s one less sanctioning fee he has to pay, to take an easier fight that will likely be a bigger payday for him, as it’s a fight that will generate more casual interest.

Although JR has gotten a lot of love from Top Rank and sanctioning bodies, I prefer him vs Chon to TTT vs Chon.

I want to see Zepeda in a winnable fight and I'm just not sure Taylor is that for him at this point.

It will also act like a laxative for the division. Everyone will see the winner of this fight as a good risk/reward tradeoff so fights will get made.

One fight gets cancelled and we potentially get two good fights? I’ll take it!
