Lets be honest here. The only reason JT beat Bhop is because Bhop would never fight as aggressively as Froch did tonight. If BHop would have turned it on and not thrown 15 punches a round every rd til rd 7-8 each fight taylor would have never won the title.

Taylor just cannot go over 8 rounds effectively. He admitted tonight that he did everything he could training wise. Imagine if title fights were still 15 rounds.

It seems to be a genetic issue because if Jermain really did train that effectively he should be able to go 12, especially with his very average work rate.

His lack of focus also played a big role, maybe even more so.

Frochs wicked shot's had everything to do with it.
Stamina prob's is not CF's prob, Dude did his job & got Taylor out of there.
(Be it in the 1st RD or last 17 seconds of the 12th still a TKO)

They are intertwined. Taylor loses focus as he fatigues. It is so obvious to see him breaking down. He is very predictable. Knowing this is seems a crime that he doesnt go balls out when he hurts someone. He had time to turn it on tonight when he had froch hurt. But, he was so worried he would blow his wad...his wad isnt very big

No disrespect to froch, other than he has really poor defense. Those shots werent going to be landing on a guy that had any life left. JT was super gassed in the 12th.

I was trying to say that Bhop must really be kicking himself/ he lost thsoe fights unnecessarily. Taylor will gas out anytime he is forced to work hard and actually even if he isnt he just isnt effective the last 4 rounds when it counts the most.

Yeah, Taylor was badly gassed and didn't look in th best of condition at th weigh in. However, Froch still needed to close the show.

Froch did what he needed to do. My point is that Taylor makes it easy on opponents who take him deep. The difference between the Bhop fight and the froch fight is that Froch started in earlier than Bhop did.

If Bhop was dead he would eb rolling over in his grave. :smoke

I can almost see B-Hop licking his chop's right now @ this very moment at a possible fight Vs. Froch..
(Prob got De La Hoya on the phone as we type this...lol)

Sad but maybe even Jones Jr. might think about giving Froch a call I'd bet.
(Tho considering Froch's views on older fighter's, I don't think so...but who knows)

Not that Froch looked horrible or anything, quite opposite CF became a player tonight.

Froch will be a much better fighter because of the Taylor fight.

As Teddy atlas would say he's a quarter horse, as opposed to a thoroughbred

Hops was 40, Taylor was in his mid-20's; BH did as well as he could imo.
