DiBella is a close friend of Taylor and clearly doesn't want to see him get hurt, even if Taylor continues Lous obviously doesn't want to be a part of it so he won't get blamed or blame his self forever if something bad happens to Taylor.

Al Haymon seems to be on the verge of dumping Taylor as well.

If these two, both of whom have been with him since the beginning and have more money to make off of him (if they choose to) are telling him to quit, it's probably because there's something wrong with his health that we don't know about.

Taylor has two more guaranteed fights coming up that DiBella's not going to get a percentage of now. Trust me, DiBella's losing money he'd otherwise make by doing this. Same with Haymon.

yeah, who's going to tune into watching Taylor turn into a vegetable? No money to be made..

Can't believe Taylor was ruined by Kelly F'n Pavlik.

He has always seemed to me at least the best of all the promoters when it comes to character and who he is as a person, im not going to sit here and decypher his intentions here, regardless, he did the right thing.

Now that its been awhile since the fight, im not as sensative to the notion of Taylor fighting, but the guy suffered short term memory loss in his last knockout, when is enough enough?

    i just dont know....

Taylor is knocking on deaths door (at least brain deaths door). His promoter knows this and wants no part of it. One of the few times a promoter actually acts in the best interest of their fighters (only because he knows the money isnt going to be there), which implies Taylor must be in pretty bad shape in the opinions of those that are around him.

DiBella has nothing but a sterling record when he was with HBO.All promoters said he was the most honest and forthright suit at HBO to deal with. His honesty has never been questioned and I believe Lou felt it was time to release his fighter from his contract-despite the money owed to him because he actually fears for Jermains health.Good on Lou.

Bottom line is im sure DiBella sincerely likes Jermain but the real deal is he is damaged goods who can no longer produce the big money,so in this business you have to go with the money fighter because like Jermain that can all change very quickly.
