This guy lost a ten round fight less than two weeks ago? Surely this can't be real?

 

A respected source is reporting this as his opponent, however boxrec has removed the date of the fight from his page

 

The pathetic thing is that this is actually believable.

Why doesn't Warren just say something like 'we've had a bit of a hard time getting an opponent for Anthony so it's not a major step up, but it will be a good experience for him. We know that his amateur background was quite brief to say the least, which is why it makes sense to build experience as he's quite new to the game.'

You can agree or disagree, but all involved just look stupid when they're talking about 'who knows Hosea Burton' when he's about a million times better known than this guy, or 'I think fans will be pleased with his opponent' when he's patently going to deliver another bum?

 

This guy will be disliked before he even gets started. His camp including Tunde is extremely unlikable. Arrogant for nothing really, the guy is cringe. Yarde is a fraud, duck merchant.

 

16 KOs in 19 wins yikes! Yarde will probably pull out and this one will end up being Doofus vs TBA instead.

 

To be fair this guy made it into the 5th with a green Papin, which isn't something to easily dismiss. And he's quite elusive and mobile for a couple of rounds at least.
Not someone to boast about on your resume though...

Seems like quite a character. Spent a lot of time on the canvas and most were not from knockdowns. Early stoppage too. Might worth a watch seeing this guy clowning with Yarde before getting eventually KTFO.
