Haye is scheduled to fight on December 10th and hasn't issued any announcements of a cancellation.

This means that his as yet to be announced opponent, is down to a 3 week training camp to prepare for the fight.

What kind of opponent can Haye get on this short notice?

I'll do it for £100,000. Haven't been in a boxing gym in nearly ten years but I'm better than his last opponent.

Seriously though, I really hate the TBA stuff especially this close to the fights. It just puts you on a downer about the card as you know it's going to be a terrible match up. How can Haye try and get an AJ fight when fighting these types of opponent.

Haye is not fighting again this year according to Shane McGuigan.

    Not fighting this year anymore.

If you use common sense it's apparent he was hoping for a WBA or WBO title shot.

Maybe Haye knows we all know he talks out of his arse, so he doesn't bother to announce that his fight on that date is no longer happening?

I don't know why anyone would take this comeback too seriously.
He was talking about coming back every month for about 18 months straight, then finally he fights De Mori in January, then follows up with Gjerjaj in May ..... two quick farcical mismatches .... now he's taking the rest of the year off.
If you're lucky he might do something similar in 2017, but more likely 2018.

Yeah he is clearly going to be BT Sports 'big' guy. Guess it means he'll never fight Joshua though

Damn, so why has there been no announcement? Pretty shady stuff.

    Haye Opponent Job Spec:

    1. Must be a small HW
    2. Must have an inflated record with lots of wins and no losses or only 1 or 2
    3. Must be prepared to go to ground in 3 rounds as per the last 2 "opponents". Must know his role and know what he is being paid for.

    I think that covers it.

After 4 years out. Haye's comeback has been bum central. He clearly has no confidence in himself based on his low level choice of opponent.

    Haye is a joke!

I've tried defending him in the past but since the chisora fight his career has been crap!

Won't take a risk against a live body.

At the time I though him fighting Harrison was an embarrassment but those last two opponents topped that!

Looks as though he's waiting to fight bellew (on his terms) won't happen or the Ruiz/Parker winner again won't happen.

    AJ has no interest.

I think he'll fall into the who needs him club when really Haye who was once hungry should really be trying to work back up the rankings properly, even a fight with whyte or Thompson would do for now.

I don't see any point in Haye having another non competitive fight. He needs a guy who will push him at least to mid rounds.

A fight with Ustinov would've beenperfect! durable slow plodder.

I'm guessing a live name would've been expensive and channel Dave were only stumping up for the bums

Take nothing away from david haye I rate him as a fighter but he hasn't beat anyone at HW and I don't think he ever will
