TBE is the highest paid athlete in 2014...That's legacy

You, my friend are a HATER. You said that TBE is bad for the sport but he hasn't done anything that other boxers throughout history haven't done including Manny Paquiao, Bernard Hopkins, Carl Froch, and a list of other.

You do realize that when a boxer get to a certain age and a certain level, this becomes a business. I'm sorry that he doesn't fight all comers now but I think at this point in his career and being one of the cash cows of boxing, he has earned that right.

You do know that when TBE was a prospect and up and coming contender, he fought all comers...but I don't expect you to understand that boxing is also a business because you HATE TBE.


Let dissect some of your point shall we.




As I said before, but will try and put in a way even you can comprehend:

Laughable. I remember when they said he wouldn't fight Shane Mosley right after Mosley blitz Margarito, TBE fought him and shut him down.

TBE has also fought Cotto (the lineal middleweight champion of the world), who people said that TBE has been avoiding and beat him.

TBE fought one of the brightest and rising stars in boxing, Saul Alveraz who people said that TBE would avoid...TBE beat him.


Ridiculous TBE marketing crap turns people off

So what, it's marketing. YOU just don't like it. That doesn't make it bad for boxing. The man think he the best ever...what is he suppose to say, TWE "the worst ever". We all know he's not the best ever, not even close...it's self promotion, and I don't see how it having one negative affect on boxing other than driving his HATER crazy.

Empowering Al Haymon and co to put on garbage for all those years was a huge negative. Haymon got a lot of his leverage via Floyd and though 2013 was a decent year, it only seemed so great because it was not the norm.

So that TBE fault, you realize that Al Haymon existed before TBE right? Also Al was doing quite well during the 2 years that TBE was retired.

Also guess what, I hate to break it to you but TBE isn't Al only client...Haymon uses all of his boxers as leverage, that what a good advisors should do. Get the most for the fighters that you advise. Al doesn't do thing any differently than Cameron Dunkin, Samson Lewskowiz, and Luis DeCubas Jr don't do for their client. Sure sometimes it sucks for fans but please blame Al Haymon, not TBE for that.


And yeah... not fighting Manny. The biggest headline to casual sports fans regarding boxing for the past several years is how the biggest fights dont get made. It doesnt matter who is or is not more responsible between the two, their collective "era" is one that is seen by the greater public as being an era where risky fights dont get made. That the fans dont matter. In some regards its an unfair perception, because some good fights have of course been made - but it is a widely held perception nonetheless.


AWW c'mon my dude. many people have alot to do with that fight not happening including Manny, Bob Arum, Richard Schafer, Freddy Roach, Michael Koncz, Al Haymon. To put the complete blame on TBE is not accurate.
