    オールド・ラング・サインの場合!

If you want to have a crack at the undercard PPV stream provided by Shisei Gym through Bitfan, here:
    https://shisei-gym.bitfan.id/events/1524

Including the service fee it'll cost you ¥1220, or about $10.60 in USD. For that you get three bouts, excluding the main event which is airing on TBS in Japan at 4:30am EST.

I haven't been able to get the Bitfan site to accept my debit card information, for Ioka's bout vs. Chihuas earlier this year last time Shisei Gym offered this, nor today. :nusenuse: YMMV.

I'm going to snooze for a few and then make one last attempt to purchase the undercard (because Kondo vs. Ishiwaki should be a good fight) - failing that, see you guys for the main event 4.5 hours from now. :ggg

Guess no takers on the Shisei Bitfans plunge, huh? :sisi1

Kondo beat Ishiwaki by UD, scores were 80-72 and 79-73 x2 ...so maybe it wasn't as competitive as I'd expected (those grapes were sour anyway :D)

    Couple minutes until go time.

Ioka vs. Fukunaga is coming up momentarily; they're showing Kazuto highlights now and he was getting his wraps on a few minutes ago.

If Ioka's chinnyness, bad stamina and looking like he was veering towards shotness wasn't a fluke against Chihuas. An upset here wouldn't shock me in the least. Stopping Froilan is no joke.

Now a hype package for "Little Pacquiao".

    Watching this now.
The opponent Fukunaga is apparently regarded as “little Pacquiao” according to the highlights. One strange point I thought was when they were highlighting a little of Pacquiao himself, they wrote former 6 division world champion. Maybe I’m missing something? :confundio1:

:deal: Still hoping we get vintage Ioka, but people were quick to write Fukunaga off when this was announced when really, especially for being like a fortnight's notice replacement for Ancajas, he is a pretty credible and dangerous challenger.

I missed the undercard, but it was surprising how small a gym Fukunaga is training out of, reminded me of one I went to on the outskirts of Tokyo.

Exactly, I adore Kazuto, but I was leaning heavily in Ancajas' direction for that one. Fukunaga present some of the same issues as a heavy handed southpaw.

Daisuke Naito with his distinctive oddly shaped face part of the analysis panel for TBS. Guy has been involved with the sport in some capacity for going on three decades uninterrupted now. Gotta respect that, even if he looks like an alien.
