Yea, not sure how far he would of gone with different matchmaking, but to his credit the guy can obviously hit. But closing in on 2022_ he needs that cash out as soon as possible at his age and condition.

I mean if he fights someone like Wilder he can really get hurt...
He still has a punchers chance, but it's a small chance...given how slow and lethargic he looks at this stage

I watched a couple of his YouTube fights and I seem to remember being impressed by his punch selection, too. He may be too old, but I have a feeling that when he gets a chance, if his health is good, it will be a super-fun fight.

If you watch him vs Forrest before he begins dying, he’s actually pretty fast for a 270 pound 6’6 giant. He’s just extremely lethargic and doesn’t like letting his hands go. I think with a better trainer he would be a bigger threat. Atm though any aggressive contender who doesn’t punch super wildly would probably take rounds from until he gasses and his corner throws in the towel.

Agree. I say this to my brother a lot. Whyte is too wild and Zhang can make distance pretty well.

It's so weird to hear these guys talk about the Top Rank/ESPN fighters. Just shows you how ****ed boxing is by the promoters and networks.

CBS doesn't avoid talking about Lamar Jackson because his game is on Fox, they'll even show other networks' schedule.

Imagine if anyone brought a growth mindset and did the same in boxing? The sport would explode.

Assuming he stays away from Fury and Usyk the other high level HWs aren't the type to really expose him. He would lose to AJ, Whyte, Wilder, etc but it will just look like any other puncher vs puncher battle.

Doesn't mean anything really but I think with the right matchmaking they'll be able to hide that they have a sick middle aged man in there. A little like Luis Ortiz but I think Ortiz is more robust.

    Ford vs Caraballo 10 rounds
    Round 1
Ford throwing a lot of fast shots. Caraballo does catch Ford with a right followed by a left.
    10-9 Ford
