After this fiasco, don’t be a stranger. This will not be a competitive fight unless Teo celebrated too hard after winning the belts. KO2.
I think he will suffer a hard KD at least once from Kambosos. Both are confident but I just have that sneaky feeling we see Lopez take a count before the 5th
So, update: This fight obviously didn't take place on June 5th as originally planned. It was rescheduled to August 14th, which is ten days from now - and clearly also not happening. The last mention of a specific date was to land on Triller's show on 9/11 (making it part of the De la Hoya vs. Belfort undercard, which may seem a bit disrespectful towards a world title bout pitting young undefeated champion versus young undefeated challenger - but on the flipside, means a lot more pairs of eyes clapped onto this one than might've been, and more $$ all-around) but that isn't concrete, just the last known. Triller's purse bid apparently expires next month, so if they don't make it by then (and they have been allegedly holding out in hopes of staging it sometime in October in Australia, which currently has a travel ban making that impossible) Matchroom would be able to seize the reins...setting up a co-promotion between Eddie Hearn and Bob Arum for the winner to face Top Rank star and WBC mandatory (and top five ranked contender in every rival org) Vasyl Lomachenko in Q1 of 2022. I just reopened the poll and set a new end date (preserving all the votes people submitted in anticipation of the June date) and will do so again if need be should it end up being sometime other than 9/11.
