Nakatani needs to win the rounds wider than this to actually get awarded with them.

    Round 3

López is getting in a few nice body shots, but not reaching consistently enough. Nakatani steps lively around him, jabbing neatly with fishhooks into the gut. López peeking up between his wrists, throwing a feint here or there, but mostly when he throws in combination, falling short or getting blocked. Nice movement by Nakatani, economical.

    10-9 Nakatani

    29-28 Nakatani

    Round 4

López is starting to drill Nakatani with looping & shallow uppercut rights off the hard jab, snaked out from his chest to Nakatani's chin. Nakatani baiting him, left arm low, countering and then drooping away, rubbery in the middle. Nakatani down, slip. López pursues, jabbing and hooking off the jab with a hop off his toes lunging forward.

    10-9 López

    38-38

I have it 3-1 Lopez, with a strong case for 2-2.

My issue with Nakatani is that he bow and arrows that right hand, which is why he's shooting them over the top continually. It's not entirely dissimilar to Wilder throwing right hands at air vs Fury.

Good. I think he's the new scummiest dad in boxing, displacing even DSG's.
