Sadly, the swelling is bad enough that they have to perform brain surgery on Dadashev.

If Lopez can't penetrate Nakatani's defense effectively how the hell people think he can beat Loma or Haney?

6-3 Lopez. Nakatani has a hell of a chin.

I'm not scoring this fight but Nakatani is landing more clean jabs and body shots. Neither guys are landing much clean power shots, with Nakatani being more ineffective with the power shots.

Edit: spoke too soon with Nakatani landing some good shots

Nakatani is the definition of ineffective aggression. Almost all arm shots. Much of which not landing cleanly. If you watch lazily you just see a guy being active. Very little of it is effective.

Based on this performance, I'm not sure he gets past Commey. Don't think he would, honestly.

I no longer do/never thought he for sure could.

I used to believe he might have a chance, depending on how Teo looked in his steps up in class. Well..jury's in.

Nakatani hurt López with some long jabs and high arcing rights on the brow! López has no answer, looking discombobulated.

    10-9 Nakatani

    95-95

Damn, the bow and arrow finds its target! Nakatani has poor technique but landed a big one as Lopez tires.

I still have it 7-3 for Lopez, tho.

Damn Daniel...Dadashev is being taken for surgery for decompression of swelling around his brain. His days are done as a boxer, but hopefully not as a functioning person. Let's all pray for his health and survival.
