Round 2

Matías is just corralling Dadashev with the stiff jab, with the Russian ducking and lightly brushing him beneath the guard with some counter jabs, all in singles. Matías working off the jab with hooking body & clubbing head combos. Dadashev using good lateral movement, scoring well downstairs with the jab, but all the powerful effective shots are coming from Matías.

Round 3

Matías is pressuring, weaving side to side and then ripping big left hooks into the body. Dadashev is backing straight up and then breaking aside, lobbing in sneaky body jabs. Matías whipping uppercuts in above the hips. Dadashev gets a combo to bounce lightly off Matías' thorax and then hangs inside for a cheeky hook up top, caught on the shoulder as Matías shrugs it up to intercept. Matías is leading with a short left uppercut, then a right, using them as prying bars to pull Dadashev's guard out and set up a big left hook on the jaw, but Dadashev is ducking low and now doubling up on the jab on the navel, then circling out and bringing the jab up top. Matías cut by his right eye.

Yeah for a guy whose nickname was inspired by Max Rockatansky, he's fighting like a total pussy.

 

Andre SOG Ward has it 29-28 Dadashev, only giving Matías the 1st so far.

 

Round 4

Matías is feigning with the left jab and then popping it out fully extended but still overreaching for naught. Dadashev using very clever movement, zigzagging, changing altitudes, dropping in jabs from different angles, then hurling right hands buoyed with the momentum of his legs while on the run past Matías. Lots of lunging and missing by Matías, while Dadashev just taps him lightly on the body, racking up points.
