All due respect to Devon, the young fighter has won his last two fight picking up first the VACANT WBC beating a fading Witter, then beating a powerfull yet 2D as **** fight in Urango who still landed a good few times though Devon's leaky defence, does not make you the top 140 fighter.

I think Bradley is still number 1, with Devon now 2 and Khan at 3, but the way these guys talking about Bradley and Khan shows no respect Cunningham just wants to get paid, i can understand this, but saying Khan is running from Maidana is BS. Why should Khan fight Maidana for small change, risk/reward is not right, Khan has to first make his name show his skills to the U.S market before they put him in hard fights and be right financially.

Khan-Paulie is a bigger money fight and head the bill on May 15th something Khan-Maidana could not do on Khan debut and more than any Alexander fight has been in or paid in, and this is just the start for Khan in the U.S.

I would love to see Devon vs Khan straight after the Paul Malinaggi fight. Devon's a decent fighter and it would be great to see the two youngsters together, I think Devon with greater power but Khan with his speed, both have a great jab but I probably pick Khan on a UD.

Good to see that ESB isnt overrating Alexander just because he has 2 belts. The Witter fight was a gimme and the Urango fight was his to lose. Dont get me wrong Alexander has skill but hes not on the level of Bradley by a longshot.

he can wait though. WBA will be make more sanctioning fees from Amir vs PM then they would if Amir fought Maidana, hence why they will not strip the belt off him.

Even a faded Witter is a much better fighter then all of Khan opponents that Khan beat. Urango is better then all of Khan opponents that Khan beat. Khan choosing Paulie instead of Maindana cause of name is a bunch of a bs excuse. Maindana is Khan mandatory challenger. They could fight in england and after that if Khan beats Maindana then he could have fought Alexander in america.

In which means Khan most likely have to wait until next year for a unification showdown cause after he beats Paulie, he must fight the winner of Maidana vs Cayo next.

    Just Down-Right HILARIOUS:rofl!!!

I find it very curious how it was so easy for you to say that Junior Witter was "Fading" yet no mentioning of Khan beating "FADED" and pretty much finished Marco Antonio Barerra. And how just as easy for you to say that Juan Urango was a 2D Fighter. As if Kotelnik and Salita were WORLD F***ING CLASS with loads of skill.

And its even more Hilarious how you claim the reason why Khan is fighting Malignaggi and not Alexander is based on MONEY!!! Look...Let me break it down for you. Khan is fighting Malinaggi because he and Roach are both aware that "Feather-Fisted" Malignaggi cannot hurt Khan...PLAIN & SIMPLE.

So yeah...Enjoy the American Debut. But just know that there are far too many LEGIT TOP-SHELF 140lbs fighters...and you can't keep using the same excuse NOT to fight them. And think about it. Bradley, Maidana and Alexander just had SPECTACULAR performances and they are Belt holders. Who better to make your (Khan) American debut than against one of those three? But Khan and Roach Chooses PAULIE MALIGNAGGI:-(.

Amir didn't mind fighting anybody you fool. It's goldenboy who are scared of AK getting KO'd by Maidana so soon which means all the potential amount of money Khan will generate for them will go down the drain. They don't want to make the Victor Ortiz mistake. Of course Khan will make more money fighting PM then he would fighting Maidana. But haters never like to step on the facts rather base their opinions on their personal bias towards certain fighters. go do your homework kid.

Khan is running from Maidana though because hes trying to protect his chin. Your right about risk-reward, hes still ducking him though and his reluctance to face anyone who can crack an egg raises more questions about his chin

as for Witter and Urango, they're both better than anyone Khans been in with and that wont change when he steps in with Malignaggi

I'd love to see your reactions when Khan fights Maidana 12 months (or so) down the line, and manages to outbox him. To save the anticipation, can you please put forth your excuses now?

    Thanks

WOW stepping up to fight Maidana in 12months time, your right Khan should outbox Maidana, its not a hard fight, the fact hes ducking him is a joke and GBP are worried about his chin against Maidana, no doubt. Khan should be looking to fight the top men at 140 in the next 12months, Malignaggi, Kotelnik and maidana arent top men

Well you've said it right there. The fact is, his career has been accelerated considerably in the past 12 months. So much so, that expectations are now exceeding what the green and inexperienced Kahn can offer.

His defence isn't quite yet at the level it needs to be, so it will be foolish and dangerous to put him in immediately with a monster like Maidana. Yes I know Maidana is his mandatory, but the fact is, Khan shouldn't even be holding a belt just yet! Never mind defend it! People are forgetting the dude is only 22 years old, and is making his US debut against a very good established fighter in Paulie. That in itself is a brave move.

But with that said, it's kinda silly bragging about holding a world title that you're not fully prepared to even defend against the mandatories
