Bare in mind Alexander is the same age as Khan with less fights himself and has just beat 2 big punching champions. I think if Khan isnt ready now, he never will be. He has improved allot under Roach and the Kotelnik fight was a quality performance

I wouldnt call Malignaggi a brave fight, the guys a none punching gatekeeper whos easy to hit, Ngoudjo and Ndou deserved the verdicts over him. I suppose it will help his confidence but he needs to fight someone who can punch sooner or later

Khan himself is already talking Mayweather/Pacquaio fights and he hasnt beat a puncher yet :-(

Whats worse is I think they're tryint ot put the Malignaggi fight on British PPV :-(

He's 23. And it's his own fault for the position he's in, he jumped on PPV far too early (greedy little *****), got sparked, and since then Warren has been moving heaven and earth to try to find opposition that justified being on PPV without being a danger to beating Khan.

After beating a withered husk of Barrera the only person that fit the bill was the limited Kotelnik because he came with a belt. Now theyre avoiding any danger again.

You cant fall back on the young argument, he's either good enough or he isnt. He's actually older than Devon, and that guy isn't tip-toeing his way through the division trying not to wake up the big dogs.

People say "Oh in a year he'll be ready", he'll never be ready. He's been a cherry picker all his career and thats not going to change.

Khan never said he wanted to fight Pacquaio. that was one of many rumours spreaded unless you can quote a proper source.

Maidana is what the boxing fans want to see but if you are the promoter, you would want to squeeze more dough on your prized fighter. So for now, PM is the perfect opponent for Khan from a promoter's point-of-view. Someone who has a name but is feather fisted. Khan should get the W here.

Khan/Maidana has to happen next (after PM I mean) or Khan will be stripped of the title.

He can fight Alexander or Bradley after thet.

If a faded Witter is a 'much better fighter' than all of the opponents that Khan beat, explain how a prime Witter only scraped a narrow points win over a far greener Kotelnik than the one Khan beat?

Kotelnik arguably might have won the decision over Witter if the fight hadn't been in the UK.

No. The way i remember it at the time Warren was forced to go down the PPV route as the only way to pay what Khan was demanding.

This is the only article on the subject I can find at the moment

I don't think Khan is scared of Maidana . I think GBP is Not sure of the outcome of that fight thats why they are holing back on it. they don't want to see there investment hit rock bottom b4 it gets the chance to hit sky high

Why would GBP want to put two of their potential stars together at this point, knowing that one of them will have their value reduced by defeat? Doesn't make sense.

Well you could say the same thing that Maidana might have won the decision over Kotelnik if the fight hadn't been in germany. :rofl

^^^The same Maidana that Khan refuse to fight against.
