Who do you side with in this recent saga? Who do you think will benefit from what has happened? I think this may backfire on Arum unless this is all apart of a big scheme of his:think?
I don't really like Arum much, but don't blame him in some ways. Plus, HBO is getting on my nerves more than Arum. Arum is just a greedy promoter (isn't most of them classified as that though?), and wants to make the most $ he can, and keep his fighters protected. Some people blame him for pac vs Mayweather not taking place, but c'mon...Win, lose, or draw Arum doesn't care with the $ he can make from Pac facing Mayweather. I place most of that blame solely on Mayweather (his urge, his loving of vacations)....And if it's because Mayweather don't like Arum THATS HIS PROBLEM! Grow up, and get over it! Back to HBO though...I'm getting tired of them honestly. I've watched plenty of fights that I wonder if they see the same fight I'm seeing? There biased, and nuthuggery is insane. Announcers shouldn't be that biased, and if they are...They should strive to be professional enough to not let it effect them. Martinez is prime example. Just watch Martinez vs Williams 1 & 2, and Martinez vs Pavlik to see how much they hated Martinez/ loved his opponent. NOW though, there on Martinez nut sack after he did what he did. I think HBO pays them to be biased though. Berto knocks out a freakin NOBODY, and they pump him up. Berto went life and death against Collazo, and gave Urango hugs and kisses (a 140 pd fighter), and yet a natural 140 pd fighter like Alexander knocked him out! SO, I side with Arum more so on this one...HBO is crap! IF people think they don't want to show one sided beatdowns, opponenets outclassed, or have some great standard...Your name must be Larry Merchant.
