Coleman 'THE IRISH STALLION' Barrett, the real heavyweight sensation May we take this opportunity to thank Team Fury for adding Coleman Barrett to the list of fighters that Fury will apparently beat? We were starting to feel a little left out. Coleman Barrett will fight Tyson Fury today and every other day. We don't perceive Tyson Fury has any threat whatsover. Team Fury however may have other ideas. They beleiver Tyson Fury is one of the best prospects in World boxing for many years. We can only commend Tyson Fury on the fact he is a very exciting fighter and has created interest in the heavyweight division, where even the none boxing fans are aware of him. The fight between Fury and Barrett will be massive, when the timing is right for both fighters. Hughie Fury can talk the talk, however eventually he will have to make the decision to either pull his nephew out, or take the fight in the knowledge that this fight between Barrett and Fury could be the one that ends Fury's reign. We are confident that Fury will be KO'd between rounds 5 and 7 by Barrett. Team Barrett wish Tyson Fury all the very best, keep up the good work and please do not get knocked out as we would like to have that opportunity. Good luck on the forth coming contest. God Bless TEAM BARRETT
Fury really isn't anything special right now. I don't see tons of potential right now. He lacks power and speed. His saving grace is his chin.
Lacks power? Speed? hard chin? First, so far all that is known is that he has a ton of power and good speed. Chin isn't a definete because the best shot he's taken has been his own upercut (it has a pretty good shot too...) but his biggest detractor is he doesn't react well to getting hit, he does some weird stuff like drops his hands. Thats all fixable with training though. He looks pretty talented and thats what can't be trained into a fighter.
How do you work that out :huh...the only decent shot that he has had to take so far in his career is an uppercut that he threw himself **Gorgse beat me to it
Hmm, Coleman Barrett got knocked down in the first round of his pro debut, "heavily" according to Boxrec, and he has 2 KOs from 8 contests... when they say they're confident that Fury will be knocked out by Barrett, they do mean Monte Barrett don't they? Props to Coleman Barrett for being an unbeaten Irish heavyweight, but this ridiculous sort of press release will only make me sceptical of any claims for him.
I've seen all of his fights so far. I'll retract my statement about his handspeed as it is pretty good for a man his size. He does have some power but he doesn't have amazing one punch power. He stops his opponent with accumulation punching. He has bad habits like you said.
dont mind dem there ****in eejit pikeys u should have heard the **** they were sayin about him b4 his last fight.hes a pikey and admitteded hes only fighting now because of the recession
Tyson is technically very good, his mouth can be a little elaborate though, he needs to get his head down and just start beating what is put in front of him and improving until he has some modest tools that are capable of making him a stand out prospect because he isn't honestly there yet.. Brash loud comments are too soon yet and heavy ladened press talk is sounding a bit lame this soon.. Barrett v Fury would not sell tickets , unless both men stay unbeaten for a year or so more and get higher rankings or standings maybe in the european ratings...... At the minute it is like two novices babbling on about who was the better fighter in the school yard.. The original talk of a McCall v Fury fight was rediculous..... I can talk to Oliver or Elijah today or tommorrow and they would say firstly " Tyson who?" Make your name an established one firstly and then start making noise, or you will go down the Audley , Chisora, track of could be's that are fizzling out of the frame fast........ (Chisora making the wrong headlines) when he should be stacking up wins on his young resume... Marty Rogan would show em both up in an eye blink.. Tyson could escalate into a good talent, but give the boy space to develope in the skills and seasoning areas........ God Bless ... mirageboxing.blogspot.com
Team Barrett needs an editor. --------------- Opponents' combined record: 91-198-12. 1 opponent had a winning record at the time they fought (15-14-1). I'm not sure "Team Fury" is too worried.
