Bivol shouldn't fight Beterbiev. They are both from the East, Russia. They should team up and fight Western boxers. Bivol destroyed Canelo, Beterbiev destroyed Yarde. Beterbiev vs Bivol is only viable in the Middle East.

I do agree that the fact they're both Eastern is a problem, but not for the reason you think. The issue is that there's not enough money to make the fight, certainly with respect to Bivol who has a very lucrative rematch on the table. Bivol could accept all of Canelo's greedy terms and still make much more than fighting Beterbiev. It's a shame but that's the economic reality at 175.

 

Bivol has made some good change with Canelo. If Canelo want to same terms for the rematch, there is no doubt he will stack the odds against Bivol again, not to mention have the judges on his side.

That's not a good deal for Bivol, who could lose the belts to corruption, which Canelo fights are known for.
