Benavidez has a better chance of a KO. Bivol has pillow hands, Benavidez is the one who would deal real damage.

I’m way more down for the Benavidez fight, it’s not like Canelo can’t fight Bivol still, afterwards.

Good, I would have hated to see Bivol school Canelo again, looks like the $50 million dollar offer For a DB showdown, could become a reality real soon. Lets all hope so.

They haven't been able to rob Beterbiev yet because he ko's everybody. Golovkin went 12 rounds 5 times and got robbed two out of the five times. His mistake? He let it go the distance.

I don't think that really changed. It seemed a little strange that the trilogy fight was scored fairly. People are so calibrated to add at least 4 extra rounds in favor of Canelo that they don't even know what to think when it is scored fairly. So, I'm sure Canelo knows that if he loses to Bivol by 7-5 or 8-4 in reality in the rematch, then he has a great chance to win the decision. I doubt he really believes he will win it clearly.

Yeah if no Bivol then anyone other than Beterbiev or Benavidez is considered a duck. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finally calls Charlo name since he’s been inactive.

You honestly think it's a duck or a business move? Waiting for Canelo and the pay day that comes with it seems more business. Easy money. Only a fool would pass that opponent up..

He very nearly got robbed last time they fought when the judges only had him winning by a single round despite the fact he schooled Clenelo and won easy.

Vadim Kornilov made it clear after the first fight that Bivol was willing to make all those concessions to make the fight but that things would have to be different if there was a rematch and of course he's 100% right.

    Treat the champ with respect

'The veteran manager feels that his boxer, as the winner of the first bout, should be treated better with the terms, especially financially, in the second fight.

"They don't want a rematch," Kornilov told ESPN Knockout. “They know that they lost very badly in the first fight and that they have less of a chance of winning in the second one. When did you hear of a fighter who, after losing, asked for a rematch on the same terms?"

“A rematch cannot take place on the same terms as the fight you lost. It's stupid. We are looking ahead. Artur Beterbiev is our target."

Mr. Kornilov is making excuses and is acting like a diva. "We want more $$" "We want different terms" "They lost badly" They're acting like they're in the driver's seat now. They clearly don't want the rematch because the first one was so close and they are scared they will lose if they fight again.

In what way was the Champ Bivol not treated with respect? Canelo agreed to fight at his weight with no weight restrictions whatsoever. Was the split unfair to Bivol? If so why are they complaining about it now? This is diva behavior from Bivol's camp. In the past when fighters have made demands Canelo has bent over backwards to accommodate. Remember BJS holding up the fight during fight week demanding the bigger ring? Plant asked for more $$ and wanted it on PBC. Canelo conceeded. They're acting like Canelo or his team made unreasonable demands the first time? This is complete fantasy.

Bivol and his team are clearly ducking a Canelo rematch. They don't want it. If they did they would come to the table and make the fight. If they want more $$ for a rematch, Canelo is a very generous guy. I'm sure Eddie Hearn and Canelo will agree to giving Bivol more $$ if that's the problem.

Give it a rest for once in your life Shadow you ginger obsessed freak

:risas3: Clenelo agreed to fight the LHW champion Bivol for his belt at his (Bivol the champ's weight) with no weight restrictions whatsoever. I stopped reading there which to be fair is probably the furthest down I've made it with one of your ginger puke essays in years

They don't want the fight Serge. They're making excuses. Call it what it is - A DUCK. They don't want a Canelo rematch. And they're not fighting Beterbiev. They want a "tune up". That's weak. We want to see Bivol in there vs the toughest competition. But they're avoiding the toughest competition.
