This is another example of why it's bad to award unproven fighters belts based on their promoter, network pull, or heritage. Canlelo's camp, or promoter, ONLY wants big fights for him thay say. And while that's fine, but is that healthy right now. As it stands, GBP can use the line "He doesn't sell enough" to veto any tough challenge for Canelo. No need to face tough challenged that might test his mettle, jst put him in the ring w/ someone who can help sell. We've seen that w/ Berto, and look what happened. He peaked while facing hand picked oppoents to defend to, and probably won't be the fighter he could have been if brought up properly.

 

Not gonna read through this thread to tell you that the WBC is all about money. They WILL NOT turn their back on a fight with Mayweather because of the money involved. The WBC belt is the only one Floyd will pay for. Probably the same with the other two guy mentioned. If so, let Canelo tell them to f off.
