back when they were young, they werent getting the superstar treatment and sure as hell werent paper champs fighting faded shot fighters and little men.

Please don't compare Manny and Floyd, two ATGs and legitimate PPV attractions, to Canelo, who has only fought one lowly ranked opponent at 154 since he's been there and hasn't once headlined a PPV. atsch

This is brilliant on Canelo's part. Mayweather, Martinez, Cotto. Martinez will have to move down in weight and is injured at the moment. Mayweather a former featherweight not known for power, just extreme skill. Cotto a guy who has a big name from what he did in lower weight classes. I've never seen a fighter so perfectly managed before. Canelo has fought nobody at 154. He fought nobody at 147. His biggest accomplish was a shot Mosley who had to move up in weight.

Until he fights a top fighter and beat him, he's nothing but a hype job. Chavez Jr is more credible than he is right now. Dragging Lopez from 140 to 154 was a disgrace.

They're trying to cash him out as quickly as possible. He hasn't earn a shot at any of the big moneymakers. It's good that the WBC is trying force him to fight Lara or Vanes, cause his handlers knows he won't win either fight.
