First of all I dont think Lara or Vanes is ****. Canel vs Cotto Sergio or Mayweather are harder and bigger fights. As a fan of the sport I understand boxing is a business and I am not going to cry about fights not happening because they dont make financial sense.

 

If Trout beats Coto. It will raise his profile.

martinez will not be ready by May 4th post surgery and furthermore would in no way would be able to make the cut so calling out martinez is like calling out wladamir klitscho. case in point is calling out james kirkland who would not be ready after being five months removed from right shoulder surgery. is it any wonder now that james is not being mentioned as a canelo opponent now that his shoulder is fully helaed?

mayweather will not fight him as he is not a true 154 and will probably be moving back down to 147 as his father suggested. he only moved up to 154 to fight cotto as miguel himself is not a true 154.

cotto is also a blown-up ww and has a very good chance of losing to trout.

i could care less what canelo does after the wbc rightfully takes back what is theirs and gives it to a more worthy champion that will accurately represent the World Boxing Council.
