The reason GGG is a unified champion is because he has been the WBC mandatory for 2 years now and nobody would fight him and kept paying step aside money so he went and unified 2 belts in that timeframe. GGG is the WBC mandatory and also as the WBC interim champion he is entitled to a 55-45 split. It is also 160 or no fight. Sorry.

 

80/20 split is more than fair for a guy who did 97k in ppv buys.

Only this is a Mandatory and as interim champion GGG is entitled to a 55-45 split per WBC rules. Also 155 can't be enforced so it is either fight like a man or drop the belt like a coward. Canelo is on the clock.

 

I'm a big Golovkin fan but i would prefer to see the Canelo GGG fight rather than see Canelo dropping the belt.

Oscar isn't ever going to agree to 50/50 it is actually to GGG's advantage to take it to a purse bid he will be guaranteed more money in that scenario then any amount Oscar would offer.
