If that is the case (I have not followed it) there are three options:
1. Both teams agree to a fair split and work together to hype up the fight, so they have much bigger purse to split. Seems the most pragmatic choice, if both promoters believe their man has a chance.

2. Goes to purse bids and the more confident team raises the stakes and then tries to raise the fight profile on their own. Probably smaller purse, but potentially bigger cut.

3. One of the two fighters walks out and loses a lot of respect.

I'd love to see the fight, so I hope they go for No1. There's more then enough fame and money at stake. Unless Canelo's team are far from certain about his chances...

 

Golovkin holds the WBA and the IBF belts at 160, he's also the wbc interim champion, it should be 50-50 or 55-45

Um yeah that is the whole point of having mandatory opponents so fighters can't handpick like Canelo has been doing. So it is either fight or drop the belt.
