The problem with your assertion is that Haye isn't going to all of a sudden get good stamina. Chisora will have to be taken out of his rhythm with consistent jabs and right hands. Haye is capable of doing this but not for 3 minutes of every round. He only engages for about 30 seconds of each round, maximum. Chisora fights at a far higher pace and can take a very good shot.

I see Haye causing problems early on. The first 6 rounds will be Chisora picking up any round in which Haye doesn't land at least 3 flurries. He may even hurt Del, but Gaye isn't a good finisher. When he gets his opponents hurt he tends to jump in and throw a ridiculous number of hooks to the head. Appearing to be in trouble may help Del in the long run because if Haye gets him hurt and Del survives it, Haye's already poor stamina will be completely drained by 9th. Thats IF he can hurt him. Chisora has an exceptional chin.

The second half of the fight Haye will slow down even further and load up on single punches, to no avail. Del will do what he always does, move forward with a high guard and a little bit of head movement, throwing to body, getting on the inside and mixing his punches up. He will pick up rounds on output alone, even if his punches are ineffective.

The fight will come down to whether Haye can keep Del from getting into his rhythm, which I'm pretty sure he cant because his stamina is not good enough. Del to win 8-4 or 9-3.

Haye's stamina is underrated.. He went 12 rounds with Wladamir & took some big shots in the process. I don't think he has great stamina, but I also don't think it is terrible.

Haye is gonna hit Chisora with more shots, more angles & more speed then anyone has before. If Chisora thinks he can just bob & weave his way forward and walk Haye down, he is going to be in big trouble.

Like I said, Haye is working on counterpunching & combinations. As you say, he can't do it for 3 minutes of every round. But I expect him to fire of 2,3 & 4 punch combinations as Chisora walks in, spin out & start again.

If it goes the distance then I agree that Haye could lose it on work rate. I very much doubt it though. Chisora ain't nothing more than a club fighter with a chin of stone!

Vs Wlad he didn't throw anything. The only energy he was burning was by using his legs to stay out of distance and his upper body to hold. Chisora does actually fight on the inside so I don't think Haye will attempt to hold too often. This means Haye has to throw a lot of punches to keep Del from his rhythm. Like I said, his stamina is not going to improve so he will have to have improved as a boxer all round in order to win this fight. I don't see it happening.

Agree about the inside fighting. Haye won't want to go there.

Chisora slowed down against Vitali, I fully expect the same to happen against Haye.... I actually think Chisora best chance is to take Haye early, not late.

Chisora's stamina is on another level to Haye. He fought full contact for 12 rounds against Vitali who throws loads of powerful straight punches and is very strong. He will only get stopped in the first half of the fight, if at all.

If Chisora wins you have to sport a Del Boy avatar of my choosing. If Haye wins I'll use whatever avatar you choose for me. Also above the avatar I will put 'Haye has tremendous stamina'.

I think what I love most about these threads is when they create a fictional version of a fighter. Chisora has turned from a light-punching, defensively poor mauler into Joe Frazier.

He's going to get battered. It will be painful to watch.
