To finalize the deal for a fight at MSG on June 7th or they will seek out another opponent !

Can't imagine what the hold up is ...

From what I heard team Sergio is insistent on a no catch weight clause, and team Cotto may be pushing for one like they did with Margarito in the 2nd fight......

I'm sure Sergio is stalling for time, he wasn't supposed to healthy til april, I dont see how this fight gets finalized for June given those facts, or they should expect a flop, on top of one if not both fighters being in fighting shape. Cotto should have just took on Canelo and made that retirement cake...

Really I thought there would be no catch weight ! I hope that's not the case this is a good match up.

If there wasn't weight issue you wouldnt have heard a mumble about catchweight from either side, and being that Cotto unnecessarily asked for a catchweight in the Margarito 2 rematch, I slightly believe the whispers Im hearing

There should be no problem at all.Martinez has been saying he will fight at 154 against Floyd and Manny for the last 3 years.

He can either make the weight or he can't? Or it's a duck. He doesn't get a pass.

Cotto was sitting high a couple months ago w/Both Sergio & Canelo wanting a slice...
Now Alvarez has already booked his next opponent & Maravilla is making him wait.

Looks like both fighters called his bluff.

God I hate this fight. It's bogus. Cotto is too small for MW and he knows it.

Cotto overplayed his hand now Sergio and Arum hold all the cards now, they may even try to low ball him since his other option is locked up

Miguel is looking for a catchweight fight , this is unfair on Sergio , he is a 160 lbs fighter.

Carrot top called his bluff by fighting Angulo???

Martinez wants more $$$...there are 3 items on the table for finalizing and catch weight isn't one of them!

Martinez talked up a big game now he needs to put up or just shut the Hell up!!!
