We explored the Pacquiao fight," Penagaricano said. "We discussed it for several days but there was no agreement. The weight was an issue and we didn't agree on all relevant aspects of the deal, so at the end, there was no agreement. After that didn't work out, we had a had a short list of candidates and Miguel picked Trout.

    Cotto will fight Trout.

Pac will likely fight JMM or Bradley.

    The rest are minor details.

Lets move on with the fights.

good. we already saw the fight when cotto was way younger, closer to his prime and with much lesser mileage and damage.

That's a shame, looks like it'll be a blown up Marquez and his 3rd loss in a row now.

Pac should hang his head in shame,as well as fans who agree he should have fought Cotto at a catch weight.

Once again this proves he does not want to fight a healthy Cotto.

there's no point in this fight once more and i'm glad that they did not agree to terms. they fought already when both are closer to their primes.

The case could be made "he beat all 3 guys" so no point to any of them, but at 154 it would be a different fight than the first one,and Pac and camp know this, which is why they will not fight him at his healthy weight..

yes a case could be made but he beat cotto way differently. bradley was a complete robbery and 95% of boxing fans think pac won but at least he survived and got an official win, marquez was a close fight even if you have pac winning, in cotto's case, it's too one-sided and ended up in a stoppage. it also happened when both are close to their primes. if pac beats cotto again, what does it prove? if cotto beats pac, what does it prove? that he beat a worn-down version of pacquiao way-out of WW where he maxed-out already after starting at 105?

Pacquiao dominated the **** out of him when they fought. I'd rather see Pac-Marquez 4 myself. Not too interested in Pac-Bradley 2 either, Pac beat him easily. Marquez is the real challenge out of those three.
