Most of these idiots think catchweights do no difference at all because most of those cashiers at McDonald's or Taxi drivers at best. These clowns don't even know that a proper conditioner is hired and that a huge part of the fighter's training camp is based on making the catchweight limit as it is preparing for the opponent.

Yes you will find cockroaches foolish enough to claim 2 athletic pounds compares to their 2 soft KFC pounds.

  3. You must be an uneducated returd. Pac fought Cotto who had fought all his career around WW limits. And you see a 2lb ( but still in the WW limit ) weight difference as a big deal LMAO, Pacquiao had ONE fight at WW and he jumped TWO divisions for that fight. You are a prime example of someone who knows very little about the sport, or you just believe everything you read on a BLOG from a biased Fraud Willnever fan

He got knocked out by Pacquiao at welterweight.

He beat a limp Yuri Foreman for his title. He only beat Margarito because Margarito's face was already sledge hammered by Pacquiao. Remember Pac broke his orbital bone and they had a face specialist to make sure Margarito doesn't get permanently hurt.

And then he lost to Mayweather..

So how is Cotto a worthy opponent? Because he fights 7 pounds heavier?

  7. STFU, Let me put you straight. Pacquiao had ONE fight at WW before taking on Cotto who had fought at the Welter limits his WHOLE career. And we are talking TWO pounds for the best to fight the best, which is why catchweights are used and have been for decades, or were you born in the 90s??
The fight Pac had at WW was against Oscar and Pac moved up TWO weight divisions ( pretty much 3 as he had only ONE fight at LW ) Cotto was a champion and it was a big move up in class from an old ODLH ( who chased Pac not the other way round )
Pac tried moving up a little against Matg hence the 150 limit ( yeah it should not of been for a belt ) and he said after the fight he will not fight at JMW EVER. If Cotto wants to fight Pac and avenge his loss he will have to do 147 or not at all. REALLY THAT SIMPLE. By the way I like Cotto alot much respect to the guy a true warrior, but he lacks skills hence his loss to PBF.

All his career at around ww limit? :patsch Pacquiao before fought cotto, like you said fought 1 time at the ww limit and easily destroyed de la hoya without a problem. <<<So if thats the case then why a catchweight vs cotto even if its 2 or 1 pound less? Many pac camp didnt have the guts to fight a healther cotto at the ww limit so cotto can focused more on training for the fight and not about focusing on making the weight. If you say cause its dangerous for pac to fight a healther and prime cotto (as pac fans keep saying) then i guess pac shouldnt get full credit of beating oscar cause if pac wouldnt fought a a better version cotto at ww limit then it proved easily that pac fought a zombie dehydrated oscar who hasnt fought at ww before facing pac in over 8 years.

Are you a dumb a$$? Cotto never fought at the ww limit his whole career. He fought at jww before you dumb a$$ lol. So you saying pac beating an old oscar means he shouldnt get the full credit? And lets say the weight didnt have anything to do with cotto losing. Many ppl can make a case and it makes sense that the reason pac beat cotto cause cotto was coming off his last big fight a big tko lost to margarito? And cotto trainer has absolutely no expereince in big fights before? And before facing pac, cotto barely survive vs clottey.

Here is what I don't get? With Pac whooping Cotto's ass so bad in the first fight...........

WHY THE HELL IS HE NOT CONFIDENT HE WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A REMATCH NO MATTER WHAT THE WEIGHT IS?

Cotto had his spots of success but Pac was spanking his ass pretty bad throughout the whole fight. Where's his confidence? Where's his team's confidence? Especially since (LIKE SO MANY POSTERS KEEP WRITING) Cotto is past his best. Are they admitting that the 1st fight was a fluke?

    Something's not right about this.:huh:think
