"As far as Hopkins is concerned, what I personally think is Hopkins is afraid of Chad. I think if he goes into the ring he knows Chad will be way too quick for him and I think Chad will take him out early. If he gets enough pressure from HBO and the media, he is going to have to fight Chad."

Mike Criscio (manager of Chad Dawson), May 2009

its so hard to know what will happen in this fight b/c its so hard to know which bhop will show up. the bhop that schooled pav or the bhop that sorta hung around v. joe?? at some point his age HAS to catch up w/ him but until i see def proof that it has i can't bet against the guy

i know i know but he skull dragged the one who was right for him and many think he still won despite his performance against the one who was wrong for him. i agree that dawson would pose a lot of problems for him (for anyone for that matter) but bhop has made his career surprising us so i wouldnt put it past him to do it again...just my opinion

i mean, you're not wrong, i agree with you, Hopkins is still a dangerous fight, and a great fighter that's seen it all at this point and Dawson himself is still just a work in progress, and he's never even been in the ring with a fighter of Hopkins caliber or style, but uhh....yeah, i was just pointing it out

i'd love to see this fight personally, cuzz if Dawson wins it does alot for his career, and i'm all for the "out with the old in with the new", cuzz lets be real, no casual fans are gonna pay money to see a 40year old who they ain't been paying to see for the past 20 years, i just think Dawson benefits the sport more

but at the same time, if i was Hopkins, i wouldn't take this fight unless i was ready to retire

:good good stuff...whats crazy is that we've been saying 40yr old hopkins for so long its kind of his second moniker but i think we can start calling him 45 year old hopkins now. 40 year old tarver...crazy how these guys are still fighting like they are

i agree that chad beating bhop would be great for the sport...whereas bhop beating chad would prolly only be good for bhop's legacy moreso than the sport

Off all scenarios that possibly could play out ... Dawson stopping Hopkins isn't a realistic outcome... let alone early.

Dawsons just trying to get Hopkins to bite the bait and fight him. Dawson has too much for the old man and wins a UD

    Yeah sure he does.
I'm sure Bernard is even afraid of him, probably cries at night because he knows Chad is coming for him.

    Anything to avoid Glen Johnson.
LHW should be disolved & merged with Cruiser.

This fight really doesn't interest me for some reason. I'd rather see either one travel across the pond for a showdown against either Kessler or Froch.
