It's nice to see he's showing the talent. Remember when Jeff touted him and people were like ''Quigg is better'' etc. I think he'd batter Quigg IMO.

Pickering won't give him rounds. He would go in 2-3 as well. Quigg has a Commonwealth title fight early next year and Casey a world title fight. So won't happen just yet. Casey for the Irish title would be perfect. Kris Hughes or Davey Savage Jnr would make a good Celtic title defence. great performance. would like to see him fight pickering or quigg in mid 2011. i'd like to see him avoid casey or hyland for some time. there's massive irish talent in the super bantam division. i would like to see the all irish fight(s) happen when there is something really worth while on the line like a massive pay day and possibly a world title. its amazing to think that this time last year people were talking about a massive all irish super bantam bout but the names being spoutted were wayne mccullough and bernard dunne, amazing how things can change so much in a year
I'd stick him in with Hyland tomorrow. It's not a fight that can be built. He's obviously a bit behind Casey...... but I can't see them being kept apart for too long without them having to face a mixture of average opponents and bums - just get it done in a year or so :deal A world title doesn't need to be on the line for it to appeal to the fans and TV, in that situation the money looks after itself. No point bothering with the Pickering fight..... you've only got to look at him running around like a girl against Appleby, and that was about two years ago. He might go the distance, but it's not a learning fight for me. Quigg is looking pretty impressive here, even though his record is pretty padded..... it's definitely hotting up in this division with the young lads coming through, Martinez still knocking around and Booth looking for another chance to move into the world scene. Let's hope the fights are made.
Savage and Hughes would be obvious enough choices and he could defend the celtic title as well. the Scot Stephen Russell might be a shout and many still consider him unbeaten even though he lost his last. Has Mark Moran retired?
