Shame, it would the perfect time for this fight to happen next but with all the belts involved its inevitable that politics would get in the way.

This is just silly talk . . . boxing is a business! These guys fight for money ans will fight the fighter who they can make the most money off of. Thats not a duck it is the facts of life:deal I am a fan of GGG but he has to keep building a base and make it impossible for any fighter to avoid him because he is a big money maker. He has to keep fight quality guys and putting in strong performances like he did last time out

Well the Mundine fight wouldnt be that bad.
Mundine is highly ranked, and it would be avenging his sole defeat.

Ive heard Geale may be fighting Macklin next though.

Tell that to Golovkin, who's been waiting for years to fight for the legit, full WBA belt.

"Sorry pal, Geale just earned an easy fight, we (WBA) are giving yet another exception". Then Soliman upsets Geale, and "Sorry pal, Soliman just earned an easy fight, we are giving him an exception too". See where this is going? (absolutely nowhere)

It's not about Geale or Golovkin. It's about the long overdue to get rid of the too many WBA MW champs, and the WBA ordered the fight before the end of the year. Why not fight GGG on HBO in December and not lose the WBA beét, THEN fight Soliman? The IBF allowed the Sturm unification, so they will probably allow the Golovkin one too.

Jesus Christ I have to convince ppl. to root for the better fight now? Who gives a **** about Sam Soliman?

Daniel Geale says his team hasn't decided on his December opponent yet, and he'll attend the Martinez-Chavez fight, but he doesn't role out dropping one of the belts.

"There's definitely options out there for us, some pretty decent name fighters out there. I'd love to keep both belts but if there is an opportunity where I can fight another huge name fighter, that's something we'll definitely consider as well. Nothing is ruled out We've just got to work out what's in my best interests."

What's worrying is that no Team Geale member mentioned Golovkin so far, it's about Soliman, Mundine, Chavez, Martinez, and despite every party is ready for the December GGG showdown HBO included, I see Golovkin once again avoided by the WBA "super champ". :-(

He doesn't want to be awarded that belt, he wants to earn it.
