Team Gesta calls out Team Rios's bluff

    At the scene.

    Team Gesta calling out Brandon Rios again and been doing so for quite awhile now. Garcia finally responds that if Gesta wants to fight Rios he needs to beat one of his other pupils Rolando Reyes first and then the fight with Rios will happen. Gesta's trainer Parra accepted. Now we'll see what happens.

    I dont think the Gesta/Rios fight will happen at 135 anyways.
    This is just a stalling tactic from Garcia for Rios to get an easy paycheck against Barrera and then move up too 140 afterwards. Gesta will easily dispose of Reyes but I doubt he will go up to chase Rios at 140 because Gesta wants to start his own Championship campaign at lightweight first.

    I dont blame Rios for ducking Gesta but its annoying how this guy goes off claiming he takes on all comers, doesnt duck anyone and saying he will fight Antillon for disrespecting him when Gesta has said worse. WHy cant this guy just be real. :-(

    Rios is probably just tired of silencing the barking puppies who just want a shot at the limelight. I'd like to see him fight Gesta just for the hell of it but if Rios wins, then it becomes just another boring day at the office for him and there willl be another chirpy little bird who wants to challenge him at the front door. It never really ends. At least Antillon is respected and well known by the majority of die hard fans. Beating him puts Rios on another level in terms of name value and now he's looking at guys who have an even bigger name than Antillon. I really wouldn't mind watching Gesta go to war with Ji Hoon Kim on FNF.

    Really?! So u don't like Gesta and don't wish him any good right? They are at different stage of their career and taking a serious beating would not any good to him. Let Gesta fights someone coming from a Win first.

    I hope rios stays at 135 atleats till 2013 he is clearly doing well in the division and I would love to see him fight gamboa in 2 years or gesta, im affraid he will go up soon though for paydays and to look for pacquiao in 2013. I still would love to see rios vs maidana, khan, ortiz, marquez, guerrero

    Gesta the glass jawed has a draw with a fighter who has lost 30 times. Rios would reunite him with his great grandparents.

    Gesta is a talented fighter, but at this point he gets turned into a chalupa by Rios. Let Gesta fight some names so people can gain interest in him and make some demand for a Rios-Gesta showdown. Right now a win over Gesta does nothing for Rios.

    Rios is a chicken that has ducked Victor Ortiz, Juan Diaz, John Murray, and now is ducking Gesta.

    Its funny how Rios says he'll fight anyone at 135lbs, yet ducked many fighters there.
