i love how the ggg fanboys are like "well froch and chavez bring big money...thats why"....meanwhile when other fighters do something that puts money over all else it becomes "that guys a cherrypicker pansy...challenge yourself...fight for legacy and respect"....its unreal

It just proves the point that this mess ain't about legacy but money and if you obtain a little on the way then it all good. I guess Floyd had it right all along. I ain't hating on GGG and his team because I can understand it but they should keep it real and say it's about the money and not try cover it up with " it's about the belts" BS. Ward would exspose GGG and they know it. That stops the money or lowers it considerably. Actually Ward and GGG would bring mega bucks because the fight can be hyped to the max with legitimate hype people would buy it by the boatload. That might be GGG's cash out fight. He will string the true believers along with these easy knockouts and make a bundle doing that and then he will take that beat down from Ward and laugh all the way to the bank. However, if Ward moves up and beat Kov then GGG will miss out unless he goes up which is out of the question.

its amazing how these guys eat ggg up and his "quest to unify" and whatever bs ......hes just like any other fighter....hes good....really good...i fear we may never know just how good though....we dont have to say that about guys like floyd, canelo or cotto though......i understand they say things to save face and keep the up the front....but you can clearly see what they are doing...people need to stop acting like ggg is "different"

 

Plenty of truth here but it's not really fair to compare this to GGG wanting Cotto because Cotto is holding the lineal title in GGG's division and GGG is Cotto's mandatory...and Canelo has technically been fighting in GGG's weight class and is now fighting for the lineal title in GGG's weight class.

How you can equate all this with the Ward situation is beyond me.

 

Wasn't ward trying to fight Floyd at 160? Why can he make the weight for Floyd but can't meet halfway for golovkin?
