Team GGG wants NO PART of Jermall Charlo, say he's not a big enough "NAME" SMH

He was a mandatory so Golovkin opted to fight him when Alvarez and Saunders were ducking him.

 

Charlo has been the mando and currently is so by that logic GGG should fight him

I don’t think he ducking either but he and his team are being completely hypocritical.. They said a 38 yr old Sergio with bad knees was ducking.. a 35 yr old Cotto was ducking them too right.. but now it won’t be ducking when he do it tho because he’s 36 at the end of his career and looking for big money fights.. smh I tell everybody who like boxing.. MONEY CHANGES EVERYTHING.. And once fighters get big paydays (in his case $15 to 20$ Mil in the first fight) they look for more big paydays and if an opponent can’t provide that (Charlo, Chenko) they won’t fight them..

 

At this stage of GGG's career I'm afraid guys like Charlo are well down the line in regards to fights that are a priority. Golovkin wants the big paydays, the titles and the legacy now, his time is limited and who he fights will be decided by these criteria.

Young guns like Charlo bring nothing to the table to entice established guys like GGG when they have better options. Doesn't mean Charlo doesn't deserve a shot, it's just there are more deserving guys before him. If GGG keeps winning and so hangs around, maybe he'll get his shot once GGG is done with Canelo, Jacobs and Saunders, but he'll need to be patient.

 

I would very much like to see GGG / Saunders which I think would be a cracking fight and far more dangerous than Charlo, tbh. Derevyanchenko is also probably more dangerous than Charlo.

 

That’s incorrect he was mando and they made him fight another eliminator after he was already mando, due to the Canelo fight negotiations. So nah he’s been ducking Charlo and will continue to do so, cause he ain’t no Dominic Wade or Gabe... finally his mandos can fight and challenge him and he conveniently no longer wants to fight mandos haha

It's impossible to say he's ducking any of these other contenders when none of them have a better claim to the fight than BJS does. He's next in line, and that's where GGG goes after he whoops up on Ginger in the rematch.

And if GGG gets past that fight, the winner of Derevyanchenko--Jacobs still has a better case for the fight than Charlo.

 

I can understand GGG wanting the big paydays, you know he is putting his health on the line and I can respect that, but that doesn't mean what Gennady and his team are doing isn't hypocritical, because is GGG giving the same treatment to Charlo and Derevyanchenko, to what he received from Sturm, Martinez and Cotto a few years back.
