The same day weigh in is about 9am on the day of the fight. There is plenty of time for both to add some more weight. It's just a bit easier for Canelo since he is the younger man.

 

And shorter guys fill out quicker true. So that means Jacobs will have enough time like canelo to rehydrate as well
