Team Golovkin is alright with 40% now

It doesn’t take a high school diploma to figure that out! The rematch will be officially announced this week. All the “negotiation tactics” and “walking away threats” were just publicity stunts. The rematch was always going to happen this September.

 

Seriously I hope you’re right,I’m a Golovkin fan but I would be calling him out if he carried on asking for 50/50.
I hate the A side thing as much as anyone and in an ideal world theyed both get the same but we all know that’s not how it works and to be honest I’ve no time for either guy at the minute arguing over tens of millions of dollars,quite frankly it stinks.

 

Golovkin thinking he was the A-side gonna yank Golden Boy around and call the shots. Only shot they called was the one they fired into their own foot.

50-50 isn’t A side you clown. He wanted even pay after all the drama Clenelo created.

 

Course he did,probably would of wanted assurances it wouldn’t happen again,would of been better off negotiating for it in New York and have some say in the judges ect but he knew That would never happen.

Most will claim no but will change their minds once the fight is signed.

 

If Canelo fights someone else he earns X -Z%.
If Golovkin fights someone else he earns X -Y%.
In this example, Y is a much bigger number than Z. Like, way less.
Therefore, you are logically wrong if you feel that Canelo and Golovkin would both deserve X%.

Golovkin fans know Canelo fought him razor close losing by a whopping 2 points on most scorecards. Canelo fans, though, know that he lost by 2 points on most scorecards... So both bases can talk mad game but both bases are fearful. Just the way it goes with folks that invest that level of emotion in others' professional successes.
