So how are Khan's team acting like ****s here then? The 5,000 they promised have been given, right? It's not their fault that the tickets have been sold quicker than what they forecasted, and thus have been slow to release further tickets in batches from Ticket Master. Or have I got it wrong?
Sam Sexton is going a bit far, but if he were to fight Ruslan Chagaev in London, I'd go watch it purely due to the Event, and I most likely will be doing regardless of the opponent. I understand your point, though. Well if Khan was fighting in the O2 against a half-decent opponent, purely because of the event, I'd go watch it, same as Irish fans should aswell if it's not too far out. It's my personal preference to be honest. I wouldn't mind going. Christmas Shopping is just an excuse. What about the previous times?
Nah, they haven't been given the full 5,000 as of yet. They are getting them slowly, which there is absolutely nothing wrong with. As long as they're getting a healthy supply of Tickets daily, I don't see a problem, and right now, there seems to be no apparent problem.
ok if Amir khan was fighting barry morrison would u pay to see it?:roll: Id rather watch the fight in the pub and pay the ticket money on beers Morrison was a disgraceful fight to take....
So they're complaining about the slow release of the 5,000 that's been promised. But wasn't this made clear from the beginning, that these tickets were always going to be released in batches?
If it was in the O2, yes, I would, purely because of the event and because it's a hugely popular British Fighter. People didn't go to see Khan-Salita because of Salita, they went because Khan was fighting. He's a house-hold name in the UK, as Paul should be in the Ireland.
No worries. I'm afraid I don't know that much Rico. They probably expected 5,000 on the dot, not in batches. Now due to the quick selling demand of the Tickets they've got, they now want more. I really don't see the issue. They're going to get their Tickets. People are just worried that they won't. They haven't even opened the upper-tier of the Arena yet, which probably will be tommorow.
the problem here is that they werent getting a healthy supply of tickets as soon as they get them they are sold and they have to turn people away It makes McCloskeys team look unprofessional i know this is the Status Quo for team Khan but not everyone operates like that
As I said, that's your personal preference, and me going to watch a well known fighter if fighting close is mine.
It's no different to football matches where the lower league teams take more supporters to an away game against one of the Premiership teams in the cup than they get for home game against other mediocre opposition.
I understand that, but they are still going to get their Tickets! It's not like they'll be left in the dark and only recieve half. If anything, they'll recieve more than the 5,000 requested slowly but surely. I think, due to the excitement, people are worried they might not get Tickets, so the issue has somewhat blown up, but I'm pretty damn sure all McCloskey fans will get their Tickets.
