Who do you think has been or could be a better opponent than Povetkin since Lewis has retired? If Povetkin was American the yanks and the mini Americans (The Brits) would be wanking themselves silly. Unbeaten Olympic Gold medal winner at super heavy, WBA champion, has scalped Byrd, Donald, Chambers, Chagaev, Boswell and soon to be Huck. Not to shabby, not to shabby at all.

Actually little lad I was under the impression that Huck was of some sort of Turkic heritage so bang goes your theory.

I don't know why Klitschko fans support them offering low deals? After all, it should be them who profit most from all these good fights happening. If Vitali had beaten Tua, Wlad had beaten Toney, then surely the Klitschko fans would have enjoyed that the most? It's strange that they, like Mayweather fans, defend their favourite offering low deals. It's them who loses out.

OK I'll bite. How about if Toney actually managed to beat Sam Peter once over 2 fights and earn the fight. As for Tua the last time he actually had a worthy win was about ten years ago.

Fair enough I would have liked to have seen Valuev vs either brother or Povetkin for that matter but he clearly didn't want or wasn't able to take the fight.

Why would we care about them beating a MW and a past it Tua? Oh, right, you're Klitschko hater #1, never mind.

So they just have to cave and give in to Haye's demands?!

The Floyd vs Pac thing is a completely different story, because these are the #1 and #2 P4P fighters in the world. Haye is "retired", comes of a loss in a fight he seemingly wasn't trying to win and hasn't delivered for years now (only with his mouth)... He stunk out the joint against SNV (had the broken hand excuse), he fought of the backfoot against old Ruiz (had the sparring excuse), he "fought" a stinker against old Harrison (had the betting excuse) and he stunk out the joint against Wlad (had the pinky toe excuse).

And still he dares to demand a huge (half according to the K2 camp) portion of the money, without anything to show for it (he has no belt anymore, and there actually isn't one out there anymore).

So why should they give Haye what he wants?

Let's just see what happens after the Chisora fight shall we. Vitali shouldn't even be thinking about making deals and worrying about cash guarantees with when he hasn't even beaten Chisora yet.

Haye should call out Potvetkin.....the WBA would would be creaming their pants to have him elevated to mandatory for Sasha. He could win that fight with a tune up, and then have bargaining power to get a 40% cut vs Vitali, and make a fight sometime early next year.

Meanwhile Vitali can offer Valuev a 1 million guarantee and and a 50K tuneup vs one of their lesser dominant stablemates for a late fall clash. I believe SNVs DKP contract is up in March. :deal

They don't have to give him what he wants, no. They should budge in order to give the fans what they want though.

Regardless of his last fight, Vitali knows Haye brings money to the fight and that's why he chased him since the day Wlad beat Haye. Vitali wants a piece of it too. Even if Vitali backs down a bit, he'll still be getting over 50% of the overall money, he'll earn more than he would fighting anyone else and the fans get what they want.

This is just greedy. If he fights Haye, Vitali will earn the most he has in his entire career and yet it's not enough. Why would anyone support that?

Personally, I don't care. Vitali is boring, Haye isn't a good heavyweight and it'd be a dull fight, one which I wouldn't pay for or probably even watch. However, Klitschko fans would undoubtedly love to see it, so why support Vitali being stubborn? I'm not losing it because a fight I don't want to see isn't happening. Vitali fans are losing out though because they'd love to see him knock Haye out.

That would be the "normal" way to go. But we already know Haye isn't planning anything but 1 big payday, without any tuneup bout, and certainly not fighting for the short money in a fight he might lose.
And he's not even ready to fight for that amount against Vitali today (if the reports of 50% are true). So he certainly wouldn't fight 2 times for pocketchange (according to Haye) and then take the lesser half. :deal
I think SNV is completely (not Hayelike) retired by now... He has a job in the Russian parlement and hasn't fought since 2009.
Don't you think Haye is the greedy party here?! Demanding much more as the mandatory challenger after his history??
I don't even care much 'bout this fight other then seeing Haye getting sparked and his fans cry again.
For the rest it's like I always said, this guy was all mouth and little substance...
