There is 50/50 without options and Haye has the opportunity to get the WBC title ...
If he wants more respect then he has to sign and try to beat Klitschko like a man

If he wants SOME respect he has to sign, now he has NO respect at all.

ps. Haye vs Values was a DRAW.

I give him all my credit to be a clever business man and manipulator. He can mislead his fans. They think that he is a Hall-of-Famer because of beating Valuev and Ruiz ...

He can talk big and put an illusion to some people. I hope that Klitschko will end this illusion soon.

No ****, I am sure that Haye will eventually fight a Klitschko. I said what he was doing from day one. David Haye will fight a Klitschko when he is ready to retire. He is doing nothing but cashing out. As for now... he will continue to cash in fighting guys like Harrison because "boxing fans" like yourself give him a free pass to do so, while making excuses as to why 50-50 just isn't fair for David Haye to fight a Klitschko.

You are "debating" because you ARE a Haye fan, and your last sentence just explained your disdain and bias toward the Klitschkos.

Lewis/Tyson and Lewis/Holyfield should have NEVER taken that long to make. Why would you use pathetic examples like that? Tyson had a little thing called Prison, that kept him from fighting Holyfield for a few years. It's extremely pathetic that Lennox Lewis didn't fight any of the other top 5 fighters from his era during their prime... Tyson/Holyfield/Moorer/Foreman/Bowe. How about Holyfield/Bowe... two guys who were willing to get into the ring and mix it up? Guess what... it got made.

Guess what else? David Haye isn't on the level of ANY of those guys. It isn't like he's Lennox Lewis. He's nothing more than someone who runs his mouth in interviews, makes a name by running his mouth about the Klitschkos.... then avoids the Klitschkos at all costs. He is able to do this because people like you support him and defend each cowardly move until you are blue in the face.

You might want to check that result on Boxrec. They have records there and everything.

Exactly. His dumbass fans happily lap up whatever **** he's throwing their way and naively believe his lies of "dominating the division" and "fighting only the best" and "fighting for glory, not for money".

How dumb are some of his fans? I agree some Klitschko fans are naive but heck the Haye defenders are not just naive they're outright delusional.

Why do Klit nut-huggers keep creating and perpetuating these ******ed threads?

There is no argument here. Boxing is a business. Wlad brings 3mn in TV revenue, Haye brings 15mn+ but Wlad wants to split it 50-50. That is ******ed. Wlad needs to STFU and understand that he is commercial garbage. Haye would easily be the marquee win of Wlad's resume and would enhance his **** poor legacy massively. He needs Haye if he wants to be remembered as anything more than the consensus most boring HW champ of all-time.

It goes this way: A guy who gets bigger % is considered usually a more important persona. It would be an insult for Klits if they admit Haye to earn more, looking from their stand point. It's not only about money but pride too. I just cant imagine Klits let Haye('who') dictate the terms.

Why 50-50 everything else? Nobody outside UK gives a **** about Haye.

Haye should keep the UK money and Wald everything else. :good

To be honest, Vitali has made some **** fights lately. Very **** fights.

Briggs is as bad as Harrison. And had less chance of winning. I honestly believe Harrison is only one good left hand away from beating Haye.

Count me out of that. I was excited about Haye at first, but he's as bad as Ruiz in terms of opposition.

In fact, it could be he signed his life away to get the Valuev fight. He was willing to do it against Wlad before Setanta collapsed, maybe he signed away his soul early?

    Yep.

Bowe wasn't willing to get in with Lewis was he?

Nor Tyson. They bumped Lewis to get at the "easier" mark Holyfield. The tax man made Tyson fight Lewis in the end.

Holyfield was never keen to fight Lewis either until he had to (saying as much before the fight), and Foreman said he'd never get in the ring with Lewis. Ever.

I don't think Moorer is much of a miss on his record. He fought far better fighters than him.

Lewis IMO though was "cashing out" from the first Rahman fight on. He was fighting that with no interest at all - got motivated for revenge- and was purely interested in chasing Tyson (+ contracted rematch) and easy money (Johnson).

I've been a critic of Wlad's opponents too, but I'll give him his dues. He fights whoever they put in front of him as the mandatory.

Haye had to fight Valuev, and I'd say anyone deserves an easy first defence (Peter Okhello anyone?) - but the time was there now to take a tough fight. Not a Harrison.

Boxing shits me now. I don't give a **** what percentage each guy gets. I've got no idea who earned what in any of the fights I grew up watching and loved (Hearns, Hagler, Duran, Tyson, Jimmy thunder ;) ).

And Hatton kept the UK Tv rights against Floyd, so there's very recent precedent in that happening.

No, no, no. You mess it up again. It's not Haye who brings the money. It's the match-up that generates huge $$. Can you think of the situation where Haye fights lets take Bonin (whose he already fought) and brings "15mn+"? What i've realised is that some British have problems with perception.

That's because Mayweather vs Hatton wasn't a 50-50 fight. Pac vs Hatton was... and they split everything... including TV rights in Britain and the Philippines.

Oh really? You mean after fighting Herbie Hide, Lennox Lewis and Danny Williams and thus far better British boxers than Haye ever fought and each being a spectacular fight, boxing fans in the UK don't know Vitali?
