    Indeed!

I do think that a 50/50 world split is also fair but if Haye is happy to agree to the above, what are the Klitschkos waiting for?

What's the options, and how many fights are on this options?

Wouldn't this extend Haye into fighting well past his 30 or 31 birthday cutoff date?

I'm interested on this theory as well.

50/50 down the middle is as good of a deal as you can possibly hope for, seeing as how Haye would be the underdog, has not had his title nearly as long as VK, and yet he still gets 50%...... Germany would be where Vitali drew the most, and the UK where Haye drew the most.....but split it all, down the middle. How more fair can you get?

But its not about being a good deal or being fair. We all know that.

Its about Haye being unwilling to lose his title, getting his name tarnished with a brutal beating or vicious KO loss, and losing the ongoing income he thinks he can make by avoiding the K Bros.

That is the reason why he won't take it. Let's be real. He'd rather milk that title he got from Valuev for as long as he can.

Dude they get all our PPV for free (Sky subscription) and only pay 25$ for their PPVs. They have it good in the UK.

If the Klitschko's have a poor deal, that's there issue. Why should Haye have to make up what RTL didn't offer? Haye signed his own deal with Sky, the Klitschko's have individual deals with RTL, so it's only right that they each keep 100%,

As Haye is the significantly bigger draw, he should make more money.

25$ is still like 20 million dollars of ppv revenue.

Germany doesn't have a PPV channel which is why they obviously want in on the UK money. And they know it'll be big. There not about to do what Floyd did with Hatton and miss out on big time money being generated over here.

What did Haye do on PPV with Valuev and Ruiz? Wasn't it 1M & 800k or have I just made those up? He's proved he can do 1m+, if it's done in Europe it'll be shown obviously at a sociable time, if 800k went back after that performance against Valuev for a lesser fight, how much would this do with what's at stake and all the press columns it's been receiving? 2m over here if stage in Europe?

EDIT: It seems I made them up. Could have sworn they said Valuev did a mil?

I honestly don't know, which is why I was asking. The version I heard (forgot where) was that Sauerland had a 3-fight option on Haye following Valuev (which may or may not have been to do with getting someone to step aside), and that Haye is basically going to fight three bums in order to fulfill those obligations.

If you look at the press backdrops for the Harrison fight, there are Sauerland logos on some of them, which at least means they're involved, but I'm not sure how.

You think this is simpler than putting all the money in one pot and splitting it down the middle? Having someone track UK buys and UK money, someone tracking German money, someone tracking the rest of the world money, then splitting the "world money" 50/50, each keeping the Uk and German, then on top of this splitting gates etc. It's not simpler, what's simple is we take all moeny put it in the middle of the table and split it 50/50, can't get much simpler than that.

    £15.

The thing is, if you look at it from a business sense, you can understand Hayes point of view. I think he should just take the 50-50 deal though.

Haye went and got himself that Box Office deal. Mayweather got none of Hatton's UK PPV money.

Now Haye said, if we do 50-50 of the entire pot, I want you guys to go to other German stations and get a better price. K2 declined. So Haye's thinking (or his management) "why should Klits get half of our huge PPV deal that we negotiated for, and they won't even try and get a better deal in Germany?"
In that sense, you can understand Haye's offer of "I keep my UK money, you keep your German money."
